Replacement Beaters for Cuisinart Hand Mixer CHM-3 CHM-5 CHM-7 HM-50 HM-70 HM-90 HTM-9LT, Hand Blender Replacement Parts CHM-BTR Whisk Attachments

I’m posting a little something about these replacement beaters but was unable to put them to the test because of my mixer and NOT because of the beaters.I’ve had a Cuisinart hand mixer Model # HM-70 for many years and recently, one of the beaters no longer stays locked in place. Obviously, the mixer can’t be used with one beater so I decided to rule out the beaters as the culprit before deciding on next steps. So, did the replacements work? Well, . . . not exactly but further explanation is required in fairness to the seller.The first thing I noticed when I laid the new beaters next to an original beater is they are a few millimeters longer but I don’t see that as a problem. The ends that snap into the mixer are shaped somewhat differently as compared to the original however, I didn’t find this to create a problem in Model # HM-70. The beaters are listed as fitting a variety of models so I assume the modified shape gives them the versality to fit other mixers. The beaters seem solidly constructed but where the tines are attached [glued?] to the rod, one beater is beautifully crafted while the other is visibly far less attractive. As a perfectionist, I would notice that and was unable to [dry] wipe the residue off.In any event, when I tried to lock the beaters into position, the one on the left snapped in perfectly and was secure when I tugged on it while the one on the right fell out. This is exactly the same problem I have with the original beaters so obviously it’s a mixer failure.I’m giving these a neutral rating simply because I couldn’t actually test them. They seem sturdy and the one that would stay locked in place was secure. Being unable to test them was NOT a reflection of the beaters whatsoever.
