I will update again if I have any problems with the new app!________________Original review: Okay so I got these on a limited time deal. I had my eyes on a different strand of lights but took the risk on these ones. Now the lights themselves are lovely, they have a very hard plastic shell. I enjoy them quite a lot. But, one of the main reasons I purchased them is the app control.The lights themselves came with no papers advertising the app, and none of the QR codes on the packaging or USB connection that actually work. I was able to find in the description that the app is called "Superlife". But there is no app, at least for Google Play, that is called this. So my assumption is that it's the app by the name "Surp Life". From the video in the listing this seems to be the correct app. I have been completely unable to connect them and it's very disappointing. I've tried on and off since I've received them several days ago. If I manage to get them to connect I will update my review.Edit: Dropped to two stars. Still no progress with the app. I'm very sad about it.

I love these lights, they work well and are pretty bright for the fairy light style. I got them to decorate my daughter's desk area under her loft bed. They worked great - easy to wrap around the rails without kinking or getting knotted up. They are plenty bright and I love the multiple brightness & color settings. They are also music reactive which is a lot of fun. The strands are 33ft long which was plenty to circle her area. They are nice quality sturdy plastic stars with adjustable brightness LED lights and have worked very well for her. On their highest brightness she can read at night and on with color settings she gets a very pleasant glow that is plenty to see by. They are USB powered which is very nice - we simply plugged them into her USB power strip and done. They also work great off battery packs which is a nice portable perk. She had no problem hooking them up to the ZENGGE app and using it. I checked out the app and I appreciate that it is really just a utility app - no advertisements or constant pop-ups for other stuff. It is a clean interface and easy to manage. It is nice that she can control the lights from her bed so she doesn't have to climb down to turn them off at night. Very happy with these.

The lights are good but they only connect via Bluetooth to their app. There is no WiFi connection nor ability to connect to Alexa.

These star lights are really cute. They have an app to control them via blutooth, and they have a remote that comes with them too. They have settings for pastel or non-pastel rainbows, solid colors, and options to flash and change color- even a setting to make them flash to music in several different ways. These lights have a ton of options, and they are a lot of fun to mess with. You can also speed up and slow down the speed of the lights flashing and patterns, and I'm sure there are more functions I haven't figured out yet. They plug in via usb, so they do need a power source, but over all I really like them.Overall, this item is what I expected. It matches the images and text in the description, and over all I am satisfied with the item. It works as intended and met all of my expectations.

These lights are soooo adorable due to the stars!!! They kind of bring me back to my childhood. The colors on the lights are also very nice and some what on the more pastel side and I love that. There are plenty of modes to choose from as well as colors. The only thing that annoys me a little is that in order for the remote to work you have to be almost directly in front of the USB.

These lights are so freaking cute! The stars diffuse the light so they don't hurt your eyes, but they're still bright enough to offer ambient lighting to the room. The remote has many fun lighting modes. I like that they have a USB plug so you can use multiple power sources.

The media could not be loaded. These star lights are about an inch wide and change colors. The remote which comes with it has so many options for different light combinations so it is a bit overwhelming. The cord is a usb plug in but it doesn’t come with a usb to outlet plug so it can go into the wall. That is my only complaint about it.
