Red Vines Red & Black Licorice Family Mix, 32oz Bag (12 Pack)

This is a great value- 12 two-pound bags of Family Mix licorice with black and red twists and red ropes. The mix seems to skew a tad heavier towards the black licorice- maybe a 65% to 35% red, at least in the first bag and from a visual inspection of the other unopened bags. I like all kinds of licorice so it doesn't bother me and besides, you can't beat the per bag price.

In all six bags most all of the black licorice was either shredded or in broken chunks. Would not buy again.

This is a great bag of red vines for variety. I would have given it 5 stars if it had been fresher. It was a bit hard but still edible. I ordered a 4lb tub of the black licorice and that is extremely soft, so I know what it is supposed to be like.

Good value, just not as fresh as we have liked.

I typically love Red Vines. However, this production of the Family Mix arrived with 1/2 of the red licorice in a non-extruded state which altered the texture to a very dense state. This is not the Red Vines standard that I am accustomed to. Without this error I would have given this product 5 stars.Contacted customer service and they explained the family mix composition. I am now very happy! Highly recommend!

Growing up on the West Coast, Red Vines were such a Sweet part of my childhood, after our Family moved to South Carolina, back in the 80's, Red Vines were not here and even now are hard to find, but not now since I can get them at Amazon. That first bite takes me back to being at the movies as a kid with my Dad.

I love the old fashioned licorice! This is a great deal and the bags didn't expire for almost a year after I received them. I think this is the freshest licorice I have ever gotten. Subscribe and save discount makes the price the best I have ever found.

These lovely bags of licorice have both yummy red and black licorice. Red Vines are our family's favorite! I can't find this product in local stores so it is great to have Amazon as a resource for them.
