Rehydrating Cream
This moisturizer has a unique gel-lotion texture that absorbs well, layers perfectly under sunscreen, and leaves skin feeling rehydrated and refreshed. Didn't irritate any of my sensitive troubled skin spots either. Does a great job at making a noticeable improvement to dried out tired skin.

Lightweight gel cream
I was intrigued by this cooling gel cream, and I really like Korean skincare products so I thought I'd give it a try. I've used it for a few weeks now. I like it because it's lightweight and non-greasy. It contains CICA extract and Panthenol, which are really good for your skin.I've been using it for a few weeks now, and I think it's really making a difference in my skin. My skin feels soft and hydrated, and it has not caused any irritation to my sensitive skin. I do notice a cooling effect as well, which is nice especially for the summer months.

Feels soothing, But--
This Cooling Calming Cream by Mimu Mimu caught my attention just by virtue of the product name. As somebody who has a never-ending pink-red complexion I am always looking for products to calm it down. The cream has a medium-thick consistency, and is actually halfway between a gel and a cream. I suspect this is where the cooling effect is coming from, the gel component, and admittedly it did feel a bit cooling when I applied it.There is no fragrance in this cream but it does have a slight scent, it smells mainly like aloe. Once I applied it, it quickly absorbed and there was no residual tackiness left.In looking at the ingredients, I like that there are several different forms of hyaluronic acid in the formulation, along with lots of skin loving botanicals, so I am convinced that this product will provide good hydration, along with other benefits including calming and soothing. What I do not like about the formulation, and the reason I have discontinued using it, is because it also contains several different kinds of acrylates and silicones. Acrylates are microplastics, bad for the environment and not something I want to apply to my skin. Silicones are also bad for the environment, and another thing I don't want on my skin. The other thing that's catching in my craw is the constant use of the phrase "patented cooling ingredients". When I have seen a listing mention patents before, they usually include the patent number. So what are these ingredients exactly? And who holds the patent? Not to be a nitpicker, but I really don't like when partial information is given and leaves me with more questions than fact. All said and done, this cream does seem to cool my skin when applied, and I'm sure it would do well for moisturizing. I even think that the selling price of $18 is reasonable, but for the reasons stated above I won't use it and cannot recommend it.

A nice calming cream for night
Mimu Mimu is a brand-new Korean skincare line launched in 2024. This cream appears to be their fourth product being offered. The ingredients are clean and there is no synthetic fragrance added (thank you!). The cream itself is very creamy albeit light feeling. To my mind, it’s more of a night cream because it goes on very wet and takes a while to absorb. I wouldn’t want to put makeup over this cream. It feels nice on your skin and has great ingredients. This cream doesn’t reinvent the wheel—I have several creams that have similar ingredients and do essentially the same thing, but this is a good replacement for any of them.Expiration date for the jar I received is 8/1/2027.

Felt like Aqua bomb
Review: MIMU MIMU Cooling Calming i.n.g Cream | Deep Hydration & Soothing MoisturizerThis totally felt like Belif's Aqua Bomb but for half the price. The moisturizer feels like a blend between a gel and a lotion and absorbs very nicely into skin and allows sunscreen to layer on top without pilling. It made my skin feel heavily moisturized because it takes a bit to absorb in and then my cheeks did pull a bit so I knew it would be great as a light moisturizer - likely not one I would be wearing in the winter though. If you have combination or oily skin, this would be a great one for you.

Wonderful for oily skin. A delightful gel/cream moisturizer. Feels clean, and makes your skin soft!
This is an absolutely wonderful light moisturizer and my very oily skin responds well to it. It's sort of a hybrid, a combination cream/gel. Comes in an absolutely lovely square jar (aesthetics count!). I'd say in fact, my freshly washed skin drinks it right up. It's actually light enough that I could wear this during the day and it doesn't seem to aggravate my oily skin. Of course it works well at night too. Nice, calm, cool and clean feeling; no stickiness, tackiness or anything unpleasant to note. It feels "expensive" and I suppose it costs a wee bit more than your average U.S. drugstore moisturizer but the quality is so high I think the higher price is well justified. Once again, K-beauty products rule in my book. Recommended!

Cool, calming Korean skin care
I LOVE this cream! I mean, it really is fantastic! This is perfect for night-time, after you have washed, exfoliated, used toner and moisturized. This is the last step in that skin-care routine that adds that little bit of extra protection for your skin.A nice, thick cream, this went on smooth and my skin drank it up! In the morning, I really could feel a difference in my skin. When I went to bed, my face actually felt cooler and so hydrated! This cream is made from some unusual ingredients, and the ingredient list on the box is really long. But, it is super nice and works well. And it has no scent!Superb skin care from Korea. Well done!Five stars.

Refreshing, but definitely a cream and not a gel
This review is for the MIMU MIMU cooling calming i.n.g. cream. This comes in a small roundish-square jar with a screw top lid. There's a small spatula on top of the inner liner you can use to scoop out the product, which is definitely in the realm of a light cream. The jar itself gives off more of a gel vibe, but this spreads over skin easily and absorbs really well. I think it makes a good seasonal-transition product—something to use as summer is over and we're slipping into autumn that holds on a bit longer through less humidity.
