PS4
They fit, feel, and look just like the rest.Turtle beach headsets are something I have had great luck with in the past.originally, I pulled them out the package, and plugged the usb end into the playstation 4. the sounds worked great, but the microphone did not work at all. So I unplugged the usb from the PS4, and I unplugged the 3.5mm headphone jack from the sound control box, then I plugged the jack into the controller and everything worked fine. I can not use the sound control box this way but I am not terribly distraught about this. The sound quality is okay, it isn't the most amazing thing I have ever heard, compared to beats or skullcandy headphones, it seems rather flat, not a whole lot of depth and dynamic to the sound. but it does surround me, which I like. if My character has a rock thrown from in front of me to the rear in game, I hear the rock being thrown from the front and land in the back. That is one of the more desireable traits for me in a pair of headphones.overall, you can't really go wrong with turtle beaches, they fit small and larger heads, they aren't super expensive, and they flat out work

excellent starter headset for approx $30
the p12s are an excellent starter headset if you can get them around the mid $30 range. the sound quality of both game and chat is very clear (comparatively speaking) thanks to the built in amp which does a sufficient job. prior to using these, i plugged in my UEs or Klipsch headphones to the PS 4 controller and although the game's music and effects sounded better with either headphone, the chat is very sporadic. i often have to switch back to the OEM ear piece which is used primarily for chat. Sometimes I use the soundbar + OEM ear piece combo but these headphones are the preferred option (like any headphones, do they get uncomfortable after a while-although these are among the lightest I've ever worn). don't expect audiophile grade sound emanating from these cans-these are meant for casual use and there are clearly better sounding options out there, but then you're looking at the $300+ range (e.g., astro, audio technica/senns gaming headphones).

Pretty good gaming headphones
Okay, so these headphones are pretty awesome. They sound very good for the price, they are lightweight and comfortable, and easy to plug in and use. The only real downside is that they don't keep sound in or out. Got these headphones so that I could not only immerse myself in the game I was playing, but to block out my girlfriend's "so you think you can dance" marathon going on in the same room. The light mesh pads on the headphones don't block out almost any sound, and as I'm playing "the last of us", she can hear every clicker and gunshot. Ended up returning them because I ended up with the same problem I started with, that I had to listen to any and all ambient noise. So if you want a really good value headset that has that great bang for your buck then these are for you. However if you want them to sound great AND block out ambient noise, then I suggest a different headset.

Worked great but not for long
These were great while they lasted. Purchased this set a few years ago and got less than 2 years of great use. Now all my friends online say my voice drops out all the time or breaks up repeatedly. I’m sure it’s the cord because if I hold the cord with my hand, I’ve heard the microphone works perfectly again. Bummer because I paid good money for this set. Normal wear and tear, but i was hoping this would’ve lasted a little longer. This headset also gives me a headache after several hours of use but it’s also a nice reminder to take a break from gaming. I’m skeptical about Turtle Beach Products now as this was my only TB product I’ve ever purchased.

It sucked and then it died. RIP.
This was the first hard lesson I learned about Amazon's "frustration-free packaging," which is evidently code for "returned item, no original packaging."The headset we received mysteriously lacked the 3.5 mm jack. I don't know if they were throwing out an old model under a bad listing or what, but the only connection available on our headset is the USB cable hardwired to the headset and controls. (Pictures uploaded for comparison to the above.) There's absolutely no way to disconnect anything from the "line-in amp" for use with mobile devices. So, you know, "Great for On-the-Go! Disconnect from the in-line amp to use the P12 on the go with your mobile devices including PS Vita! [unless you accidentally buy our used garbage]"Also, when we ordered the headset, the description listed mic monitor as a feature. It was later removed from the description, but I went nuts trying to figure out how to enable mic monitoring for the first day or so.The sound quality was underwhelming, but whatever, they were cheap. I was only disappointed because a similarly priced pair of Turtle Beach headphones served me well for years on Xbox 360. I eventually bought a PS4 Gold wireless headset, and my husband (who's a lot less fussy about sound) used the P12s for a couple of weeks. Then the mic just... stopped. Dead, kaput. We'd owned the headset and used them lightly for about six months. I would have been better off using a wired cell phone headset for six months -- which works, by the way, and it can be great if your ears get tired of big shells resting on them.

... had the headset for 29 days and it has excellent sound quality i enjoyed playing battlefield 4 with it
i had the headset for 29 days and it has excellent sound quality i enjoyed playing battlefield 4 with it. i work a 12 hour job and only get to play on Sunday. well one Sunday i noticed the mic was a bit wobbly and it kept twisting in a circular motion i had to twist it a bit to keep it straight and close to my mouth. right after i moved a bit the mic wobbled down and i twisted it again to keep it straight close to my mouth but this time ot broke off completely now i can hear through the headset but i cant talk to anyone anymore.
