HIGHEST QUALITY TEMPERED GLASS PROTECTOR, Not Just A Me-Too Product!
It seems that "tempered glass" protectors are now ubiquitous. There must be 100 "different" suppliers on Amazon! Many are the same, apparently, but most are differently manufactured, using different cutout positions and shapes. A lot of users complain about "chipping" of the glass or cracking upon installation. Most of the problems are related to quality problems PLUS a polluted or botched installation step, and perhaps the glasswork layer quality of glass being at the heart of breakage issues when impact is not involved.Better made protectors have well placed "rainbow-free" adhesive layer. Better design includes the rounded edge, which many appear to have. Expensive production would have a tiny semi-circle cutout at the top for sensor, and a slot for speaker. The iPhone's CAMERA theoretically would be better performing with a physical hole around the lense, but in reality this is not true; it turns out that the covered glass actually protects better and keeps lint and skin flakes away from the hole, while the anti-glare coating on better protectors, like this one, allows light to flow without adding haze effects. The bottom button hole can be either n-shaped or Omega style (like mine was). Due to proximity to the curved edge, a good GLASS screen protector cannot have a complete hole cutout, so don't let that be an issue. In actual use the n-shape gives the fingerprint sensor a better chance of focusing on your thumbprint without errors, because your thumb can press down more fully into the circular area. ALL correctly made glass protectors will leave about a 2.5 millimeter unprotected zone along the curved edge of the iPhone screen. Do not cry, this is normal and it won't matter, as long as you also use a carrying case that has any sort of standard, Apple-specified, edge lipping. All that detail being said, the LUVITT TEMPERED GLASS protector may be one of the best ones you can buy. I've had now self-installed one for awhile and have not seen any of the pocket-carry-related cracking or random chipping problems that people complain about here on the User Ratings for various cheaper protectors. This could be due to the LUVITT's claimed use of ASAHI glass, which is a superior glass product. In other words, it's not some run-of-the-glassworks "tempered glass product". I've ordered a spare, due to the dire warnings I've read, about sudden breakage, but honestly, I believe I'll never get to use the other glass protector that I bought! You must take GREAT CARE in doing the installation right, as it's the ONLY CHANCE you'll get. Yes, boys 'n' girls, this is not some flexible friction sheet that you can yank on and off as you like! Here is my procedure that has worked for a half dozen installs without error: Set out parts you need. 1. A FULL SIZE clean, washed/dust-free microfiber cloth, NOT merely the tiny micro samples provided by the glass kit. 2. A large trash bag that you'd use for lawn care. 3. a spray bottle of 91-99% isopropyl alcohol. 3a. A can of compressed CO2 or "air" is handy but not essential. 4. A bright, clean work environment without air drafts 5. A pair of powder-free gloves like thin nitriles. 6. A roll of masking tape or packaging tape. 7. Your LUVITT screen protector kit, package pre-opened using scissors or a blade, ready to go. The parts are sealed down in #1 type plastic bubbles onto cardboard, so get those opened up ahead of time. Be CAREFUL not to flex the glass sheet or lay it down on a dirty work area. Leave it in the cushion envelope until the last possible moment before application. The work table should be first wiped off clean with a damp rag, in one direction, towards the edge of the table.a. Set out your tools/parts so you can reach them. Pre-cut about six 6" stips of tape, curl over one end or both, for quick un-peeling.b. Take your garbage bag to another room, shake it out violently to build up static charge.c. Quickly lay down the closed garbage bag and tape it down so it cannot move around. The static charge will attract lint and skin dust away from you and your work and suck it down onto the statically charged plastic.d. Lay your iPhone 6+ down in a horizontal position in strong light, on top of the garbage bag.e. Press a couple pieces of tape along the long edges of the iPhone and onto the bag, so it cannot move around. Alternately, make a double-sided tape loop and lay the iPhone on top of the two loops, but be sure the phone is stable/flat. Not much tape is needed.f. Clean the iPhone surface by spraying a light mist of alcohol onto the microfiber cloth and scrubbing it clean. You can use the provided alcohol pad to do this as well. If it's really grundgy, keep cleaning with fresh cloth surfaces, misted, till it's all clean. Wipe with clean cloth to achieve relative dryness, though absolute dryness is not as important as is freedom from lint and dust.g. Wearing gloves, peel the back sticker off the tempered glass. Do NOT bend the glass! Pull down on the removal strip to peel away the adhesive protection sheet. Discard the sheet. Now carefully grasp the glass by the edges near the corners. Slowly lower the glass down to the iPhone, carefully lining up the home button and speaker slot. The home button is easier to align; on top edge of iPhone, double check the sides to see that the panel is not skewed atop the slot, which is not an obvious condition, as it would be easily noticed around the home button.h. Slowly lower the screen onto the phone. You have about two seconds to adjust before the air cushion leaves the space and the adhesive starts to take hold. Once it's absolutely lined up, gently tap straight down on the center of the glass. Now the adhesive will slowly "melt" onto the iPhone and evacuate the air at the same time. If any stray bubbles get left behind, grab the microfiber or a flat plastic credit card, and gently ease the bubble towards the corners of the protector. You are now an expert tempered glass installer!i. Lastly, put away all your crap, carefully peel away and dispose of all tapes, etc., before your roommate/husband/wife returns to yell at you.Go about your day, enjoying the fantastic slick, smooth, silky, high-contrast surface of your LUVITT TEMPERED GLASS Screen Protector!

The best screen protector? I think I found it.
Simply amazing! This item is of high quality and provides all the tools necessary for an easy, trouble-free application. As others have noted, the class protector is slightly smaller then the glass face itself, and near fails to cover the actual LCD portion of the screen at its sides. However, it is perhaps not realized by some that the iPhone 6 & 6 Plus have beveled glass screens that taper at the ends towards the case seam. As a result, the screen protecter must end before this point. In order to cover the entire screen, the glass protector would have to contour over the iPhones tapered glass edges in an effort to perfectly align, thus making the protector fragile where the glass comes to a thin edge on a rounded surface. Moreover, the screen protector could potential dislodge or loosen over time if it tapered at the edge with the use of a case when removing/applying. The tempered glass has an extremely smooth surface that feels better to the touch than the actual glass screen on the iPhone. I am without a doubt buying more as gifts/backups for myself, and will from now on shop Luvvitt screen protectors for every iPhone release.

just baaarely covers screens
Its glass, it seems good quality,It JUST barely covers the actual screen on the phone, maybe, and only if its PERFECTLY lined up.I'm off a tad on mine. (see pics)I know the iphone 6 plus has rounded edges but it seems like they could have gone a little farther out for fudge factor.Since amazon does not allow pics at the moment, you can go to www.imgur.com/a/ckdEg#0, to see pics:I also posted images to amazon product gallery, since amazon let me this time :-)Other than that, it seems like every other glass screen protector out there.I'm happy for now, but wish it had more coverage and if a better fitting one comes out after some time, I will replace it.I'm hoping dirt doesn't get caught in gap between edge of case and glass screen protector

Does it get any better?
I have a very favorable initial impression of this LUVVITT screen protector on my iPhone 6 Plus. First, the size is as good as it gets because the iPhone 6 glass rounds off at the edges. This is a stiff laminate that is not flexible enough to bend and shape to a sharply curved surface like the iPhone 6 edges. So it has a different look than on a device that has a completely flat screen where the laminate can cover edge-to-edge, instead of just the "flat top."The tactile feel is perfect--smooth and the fingers slide nicely on the surface. It does not show smudges/fingerprints and is easy to wipe clean. Two nits: 1) Anyone know why there is a notch in the middle of the top edge? And 2) the entire circumference appears lighter than the inner screen, like there is no adhesive around the very extreme edge of the screen. This seems to be a superficial aspect, as the laminate is stiff and I can't see the edge "catching" on something and bending or peeling off.Very easy to install. No bubbles or dust specks to boil. Sorry, that was old school Dr. Seuss . . .If it doesn't scratch easily over time, this is the perfect screen protector for me.

Easy installation, nice quality and aesthetically great
Easy installation, nice quality and aesthetically great. The problem is after a month of use one of the corners is starting to lift off which I cannot get to adhere again so I am going to try another tempered glass protector. For the price it would have been nice if it lasted longer than a month or if I could tolerate an aesthetic flaw.
