Beautiful, practical, tough, and as easy to clean as they are on the eyes!
Love these pans. Though the box had been handled roughly by UPS, the interior box was undamaged and all the pieces were packed exceedingly snuggly to avoid breakage. I was skeptical when I read the insert that said never heat on more than medium heat. I was pleasantly surprised by how even the cooking surface is, even on low heat. The lids have a nice high arc to them to keep from burning fingers better, though it makes storing them a tad more difficult. The pans themselves are gorgeous. I wished there was a larger skillet in the set, but what I have will work for 90% of what I cook. The non-stick surface works far better than my Teflon pans. They clean like a charm, both by hand and in dish washer. The only trouble area is around the bolts holding the handles on, but it only requires a moment to focus on them to remove any build-up. All in all I am very happy with this product!

Great Set!
I love this set. Was trying to get away from the toxics, and this says it's got the nontoxic ceramic. Nonstick is super easy cleaning. Lids fit well and are sturdy.4 stars because the largest skillets are still pretty small. I had to buy a ceramic fry-pan set from C-big box to supplement and now am hopefully free of toxic chemicals in all my cookware. Until the next report comes out.I wish I had received a discount in exchange for my review.

Impossible to avoid surface scratches
The enamel is a great non-stick surface, and the heat distributes evenly. Also, the color is bright and attractive. So why not 5 stars? We have only been using these pots for a couple of weeks, and the enamel is easily chipping/scratching. We don't do anything unusual. Cooking on the metal surfaces of the stove scratches the red off the bottom. Also, because we have to stack the pots for storage, not having a pot rack, some of the white cooking surface is already damaged. We ALWAYS, carefully use plastic cooking tools.

Nice, but...
This cookware is nice-looking and not much will stick to them, but we all know that looks don't mean much if function isn't present. My issue with the set is more about the covers [they don't seem to fit perfectly and pans without a tight-fitting lid aren't what I was looking for]. I made popcorn in the bigger pan and realized later that a lot of the red paint scratched off just from the motion of rubbing the pan back and forth on the electric ceramic stovetop. I don't think that should have happened. It certainly doesn't give me much faith that these pans will last for years. Or at least that they won't last for years and still be red.

really, really love this cookware
I bought this 10-piece set as a present for myself after Christmas. I was replacing a Cuisinart hard-anodized nonstick set that I had had for about 8 years, which was getting too many scratches and dings on the nonstick surface. I wanted to try an enamel non-stick set, because I have been reading about the health concerns of the other nonstick finishes. But because the enamel sets are aluminum, I was afraid they would feel too light-weight and flimsy. That is not the case with these pots and pans. They are not as heavy as most of the hard-anodized sets you'll find, but they are by no means flimsy feeling. To me, they feel substantial and sturdy. The non-stick finish works perfectly. They heat evenly and cool quickly. I love the cheery red color. I just love this cookware. My only gripe comes from the stickers that were on the glass lids. They leave an adhesive residue that I cannot banish, no matter how much Goo Gone and elbow grease I use. Goo Gone partially dissolves it and then a film spreads around the lid. It's quite annoying. Nevertheless, I will be buying the larger skillet and saute pans to add to the set, when I feel like treating myself again. I had read the other reviews and am aware of the set's tendency to scratch easily, so I am being extra careful, especially about how I store them (ie., I do not stack them). So far, after a month of use, no problems. I am so glad I got this cookware - good job, Cuisinart (but really, ditch those stickers)!UPDATE: It has now been 3 years since I purchased these pots and pans, and I still love them. They get light-to-moderate use (I don't cook every day), and they have held up beautifully. I take care not to stack one pot/pan directly inside another and am careful with the utensils I use, and so far (knock on wood) have had no scratches on the enamel coating. I still highly recommend.

Perfect
This set is fantastic. It has all the necessities, the pots and pans are all the perfect size. No stupid, odd sizes you'll never use. Nothing sticks to them, they clean so easily and cook evenly. And knowing my food is chemical free, unlike Teflon cookware, is a wonderful peace of mind.
