Must buy. So much lighter than the first 2 gens of pens, and similar to the pros. If you want a simple quick cheaper by a lot that works for your M2, M4, and regular iPads and Airs, this is it. Works wonderfully and no glitches. Did I mention SUPER lightweight? Yes. No app is needed. I interchangeably use it between iPad 9th gen and IPad 10th gen with No issues. It doesn’t lag nor glitch. I use this pen to take notes for school and work so I use it ALOT. It also comes with several pen tips for replacement, which is easy to change out. Battery lasts all day, maybe even up to 3 days depending on what you’re doing. I do own an Apple Pen 1st gen, but I don’t use it because it’s heavy! And if you take a lot of notes like I do, the sport pen tires your hand- it is noticeably heavier. Besides, the sport pen requires you to install it to your iPad, and say if you want to use another non Apple pen it interferes with it via connection. I now use 2 non brand pens as back up’s and neither give me issues. But if the Apple pen was my back up, it interferes stiff connection and lags or glitches this pen. So keep that in mind. I love this pen, I use it a lot as my go to, and I’m glad I bought it. But it, you won’t regret it. If you’re not a professional artist, you don’t need the Apple pen, you’ll want this trust me!!! I recommend this pen for all!

I picked up the Metapen Pencil Air8 for my iPad, and honestly, I can’t tell the difference between this and the original Apple Pencilexcept for the price. The pairing was super easy, it connects right away without any hassle, and the response time is instant.Writing and drawing feel smooth and natural with no lag, and it handles pressure sensitivity really well. I use it for note taking, sketching, and a bit of digital art, and it keeps up with everything perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for an Apple Pencil alternative that didn’t break the bank, as I primarily use it for note taking rather than art, and came across the Metapen. The design is very similar to the current lineup of Apple Pencils (Pro & USB-C models) but is lighter weight and has better advertised battery life (haven’t tested this yet). However, some things to note: you have to power it on manually before using it and it is lacking pressure and tilt sensitivity (which makes this not ideal for artists). There is, however, an auto-off feature after 5 minutes of inactivity which mitigates some of this. And due to the physical power button, the Pencil slightly rattles when you shake it, but I don’t think that’ll take away much from the experience of using this Pencil.If you don’t care for tilt or pressure sensitivity, I think this is a great option!

I love this pen. Works perfect with my iPad and battery life last sooo long. High quality at a reasonable price is what I always look for and enjoy! Oh and I love the fact you get 4 changeable pen heads 🤗

I love this product. It is super easy to use and very easy to write and draw with. The tip size is nice as well I haven’t had any problems with it. It’s not pressure sensitive it works very well. The design overall is very nice. The battery last a while as well which I appreciate. I would definitely repurchase.

Was a gift for my son so he can edit his Roblox videos works perfectly and he was happy would definitely buy again works just like a real Apple Pencil

Therefore I changed my review to 4 stars.———ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW:Bought in April 2025, used only for a month, then died. The light is still on after a charge but it won’t work on the phone or a tablet. Very disappointed by the quality. Unless there’s a reset or something that can fix it, it is useless now and has to be trashed. What a waste of money!
