I bought this to add a computer and gopro tp my tadpole trike. It has several different size of liners so the clamps will tighten on different size frame tubes. BUT it feels pretty weak, even if it's just holding a small action camera and a good sized cycling computer.

After reading the reviews, I didn't know what to expect. Most of these things were around the same price and had only average reviews. I liked the looks of these and they were cheap enough, so I figured I'd give them a try. I installed mine on a mountain bike with 25.4 mm handlebars. I had recently added new riser handlebars and the rise took away my area ro mount an odometer, so I purchased this extention bar. Look, I can see people's complaints. It's very light but feels sturdy enough. With 25.4 mm bars, you must use the included gaskets. It takes very little maneuvering and tightening, but I got mine set. Can I force it to move out of place? Yes. But it holds. I wouldn't strap a backpack to it, but I was expecting worse. By the way, it's very simple to do a homemade fix job and get this thing to work for your needs. It's cheap enough.

The screws did not fit right poor quality.

First off, my tube was carbon fiber and plenty thick to be sturdy enough for anything I want to mount on it. It took 5 wraps of electrical tape on the handle bars to make a solid enough connection that I can pick my fat tire bike up by this handle bar extender. Don’t use the plastic spacers they are impossible to make solid but the electrical tape works great! I scratched my tube putting it through the clamps also, but who cares it’s a handlebar extender not surgical equipment!
