Everything about this product is off - the design of the bottle, the color of the perfume and of course the smell. I still have some of the original perfume but decided to buy a new one not to run out. I should have read the ratings.... If it is your first "Lovely" you wouldn't know if it is a fake but having had a real one before will make it impossible to settle for anything less. This particular product is not even close to real deal. Don't buy it! Picture shows real "Lovely" on the right and fake on the left.After writing the first part of the review I contacted Amazon customer service making a refund request as the product I received is not authentic. Within less than an hour I got an email confirming that a full refund had been issued and they don't want me to return the fake perfume. Amazon is amazing! So you know now if you receive a product that is not authentic all you need to do is contact customer service.

This is not the genuine product. The bottle is different, the colour is much lighter, and the perfume wears off almost instantly. I've just seen other reviews and confirmed my suspicions that this is fake. I have the origin perfume and this is 100% a fake knock off.I don't know why this is still on Amazon with so many negative reviews from people who have previously owned the original perfume and who have noticed that this is watered down with alcohol and the bottle isn't legitimate. It burns my skin when I spray it and the original definitely did not.Also- despite saying that you can return this, you cannot!

I'm sorry to report this purchase was a great disappointment to me. It really doesn't smell anything like it does in the stores. And it has a horrible alcohol smell that I simply cannot tolerate I am returning the item if they will allow it. I have written customer service because it said that the item was not returnable when I tried to return it. I'm waiting for their reply. It's a terrible waste of good money if they don't return. Don't waste your money. Something is wrong with this bottle of perfume.

No plastic, no seal, major imperfections around the top of bottle. See pictures. This was honestly the worst item I have ever purchased from Amazon. I don't know what is in that bottle, I know it could likely kill an animal. It's horrible!PLEASE LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. It's no good.

I scared the crap out of a lady at Wawa wanting to know what her fragrance was. She explained to me after I apologized it was this one. And how much she paid for it. Luckily I found it on Amazon for much cheaper. Wonderful smell. Not overpowering.

I just didn't care for the smell... Very weak and smells like an old lady. The lid doesn't even stay on. What a waste of money! Amazon should refund everyone's money!

This so called "perfume" is not the real perfume!! I am appalled that this seller would actually sell and make money from this product. This is a lesson learned for me... and that's not to purchase perfume online from this desperate seller. This "perfume" was ALL alcohol and smells NOTHING - NOTHING AT ALL like the real perfume! This was a total RIP OFF!!!

I have used this scent for years. This bottle must have a cheap knock off or it was left in a hot delivery truck. It smells strongly of alcohol but not the scent I am accustomed to. Very disappointed.

Hi. I’ve purchased two 100ml bottles of Lovely in the last 8 or so months; both have been the genuine item and, I have just ordered another 100ml bottle. This is a wonderfully feminine perfume which is suitable for many occasions. I mainly use this for weekdays, (I also use Elizabeth Arden) which gives me options depending on my mood and or what I’m wearing; the great thing is that “Lovely” is an exceptional perfume for the price, and, is one of my firm favourites for during the week.....saving my Estée Lauder for weekends and special occasions.A wonderful perfume for the money. I came across this perfume after my two favourite perfumes are too expensive for me to justify - these perfumes are Philosophy's Inner Grace EDP (RRP £44 for 60ml) and Narciso Rodriguez For Her EDP (RRP £56 for 50ml ). I really love these perfumes and they are rather similar to each other in some aspects. I noticed several reviews for these perfumes mentioned SJP's Lovely perfume as being very similar and much more affordable (practically double the quantity for half of the price) so I thought I would give it a go, despite not being able to find it to smell in any shops.I am so glad I purchased this. The box and the perfume bottle are so elegant it would look lovely ('scuse the pun) as a gift for someone else, but also looks great on any dressing table. After the first spray it instantly reminded me of the 'For Her' perfume. They are so similar yet I think I actually prefer 'Lovely' as it smells slightly fresher and lighter, whereas 'For Her' can be a bit too heavy and musky at times, in my opinion anyway.This is perfect not only for the value but because I think it's impossible to 'over do it' - no matter how many sprays you use it never is 'in your face' like some sweeter, stronger, perfumes can be. I'm thinking it would be great for every day use and great for things like interviews where you want to make a nice impression without being overpowering.The scent is fresh, clean, lightly floral, lightly musky and delicate. I can see all ages loving this, I am 22 and adore it but I feel that I could give it as a present to any older relatives of mine and they would like it.I would recommend it if you are a fan of 'For Her' or 'Inner Grace' as you are guaranteed to love this too. It's also a great one to get for a lady as a present because it is rather subtle so I can't imagine anyone would take a strong dislike to it.I will definitely be purchasing again! I could do with a smaller size to take out in my handbag for during the day touch ups.

This product has proved to be very disappointing to say the least. Was bought end of April 2018 but not used until beginning of September 2018. It smelt putrid. Having a small amount of this product in another bottle the odour of both is totally different, even the colour of the bottles have a different tinge. The lot number is L260218. I have used Lovely by SJP perfume for over six years and have never had a cause for complaint, I've had a friend compare both and confirm that there is a distinct difference in both products. Has the product ingredients changed in recent years, if so will not be purchasing this product again?

Great value for money! I get this perfume for my mum every year, this is the first time I have purchased this from amazon and I was very happy with the price as it was a lot lower than what I usually pay for it so I have saved money and made my mums day! She was very happy with the item. I Would recommend to other amazon users.

Bought as a gift for Christmas.I purchased this perfume based purely on the customer reviews, I didn't have a clue what the smell was like.My friend absolutely loved it. Apparently the smell is a lovely, light fresh smell, not too overpowering and lasts a long time on the skin.Will definitely buy again. 5*
