Husband loved it!
Bought this for my hubby for Christmas and he loves it. Super clear picture in daytime and night time. Perfect for spotting animals on our property at night!

Nice for the price
This is not high end by any means, but you get quite a bit for the price. At it's surprisingly low price you do get to see at night, take pictures and video. These goggles sure do come in handy. Sometimes my chickens don't like to go back into the coop after sunset and I use these to find them.

see at night, take pics or movies
I've not got a true basis for comparison -- how many night vision kits can one have!? -- but I can report that these are compact and effective. They will let you see at night, and of course during the day. You can take pictures and movies. It comes with a 32gb micro-sd, but it will take up to 128gb. You can also play back your recordings on the device. The array of buttons are not exactly intuitive, but with time you'll pick up the system. And, if you are using these in the dark you will have to, because the buttons are not illuminated. The 8x range is a relatively narrow zoom range and the magnification is not starting from a high magnification factor, but perhaps that's already plenty compared to other night vision kits. This thing has to cast an infrared beam, after all. I like that it comes with a tripod mount and a strap (and a charging cord). Someone else wrote that these don't feel cheap. I think I agree, but I would not be submitting these to a lot of punishment; the plastic is fairly brittle and I'm not going to test it by dropping it on to concrete. On the plus side for campers and others out trekking around these are quite light, and they take up a small space. They call them goggles, but unlike actual goggles you'll keep the screen a bit distant from your eyes, fyi. That means your face will be illuminated while you are using it, so I wouldn't count on staying hidden if you thought you were going to use these while trying to disappear into total darkness.

See what's out there at night.
This is an interesting device. While it looks like conventional binoculars you look at the screen in the back, not the eye piece looking projections at the front. That is because this night vision device is camera based, not optical. One of the “”eye pieces” is the camera lens and the other is for the infared/night vision mode. The infared really does work well and has adjustable brightness. It works to see what is out there at night. The 8x zoom does not really show up on the view screen of my unit or in the photos/videos.If you are looking for high quality photos and videos this is not the device for you. The photos and videos are very grainy. See pictures.Since this is a telephoto device it is hard to hold still by hand but they do provide a ¼” screw insert for mounting on a tripod or table top tripod. Then the photos and video will be clearer. These photos are with the device mounted on a tripod. There was still some shake as I clicked the shutter button.

TO SUMMARIZE – WOW – ALL FEATURES WORK PERFECTLY
This is my second IR night vision unit. I cannot call it a “goggle” because you do not put your eyes to eyepieces – you watch on the large screen monitor/viewer. All the features are easy to learn and use via the 6 control buttons on the top. It comes with a comfortable neck strap as well as a very thorough manual, cleaning cloth and a 32GB TF card (max 128GB is supported). My old IR unit was binocular-like and was uncomfortable and complex to use – this IR monitor is a vast improvement, and I am very pleased with the order. With the press of a button, you switch between normal color and IR night vision. You can adjust the level of IR as well as zoom up to 8X. The left lense controls the focus. A USB A-C cable is included for recharging as well as linking to a PC for viewing, copying, picture and video file management. The IR monitor also allows viewing, deleting pictures and videos. There is a tripod mounting bolt hole. There are too many Menu options to insert here – see pic from the manual. The night vision camera/video viewer is exactly as advertised.

Battery is garbage
Bought this for my son and it worked well at first. He did not use it for a couple of months and now it will NOT hold a charge, no matter how long I charge it (tried many cables, as well). While I did not expect miracles from this for the price, I did expect a product that has more than. A few months' lifespan. 10/10 would NOT buy again.

Pretty decent quality
There’s a bit of a rough edge here and there, but all in all these are machined pretty well. I tested is the dark and they work, . It’s nicely packaged with a case that sturdy. The main thing is that these are decent quality at a reasonable price. They aren’t true binoculars though one of the lenses is the infrared emitter, but they all called them that so there’s no point in fighting it..
