A high quality topper that's likely to improve your quality of sleep and aches/pains
The media could not be loaded. In summary:-Achieves a fine balance between comfort and support.-Seems to improve both mattresses that are too firm and mattresses that are too soft.-Stays cool, unlike many memory foam toppers.-High build quality (e.g. handy corner straps).I bought the Eve mattress topper alongside the Panda mattress topper. My plan was to test them both and keep the one that I preferred. I ended up keeping the Eve!Firstly, it's worth noting that the Eve mattress topper does not appear to be made of memory foam at all. If you squeeze the foam, it instantly returns to its original shape. I emailed Eve saying this and they replied, saying that they had never claimed it was memory foam (though it's strongly implied in their description). The Panda topper, on the other hand, was definitely memory foam and felt much softer as a result. As soon as you lie on it, you notice how luxurious and soft it feels; completely different to the normal (spring) mattress underneath. The Eve does not have this immediate feeling of luxury. Its still very comfortable but feels more like a very good spring mattress, than something completely different. The Eve does, however, provide proper support. After a few nights on the Panda topper, I began noticing pains where I was lacking support and sinking too far into the mattress. This was particularly noticeable when sleeping on my front (I'm a front and side sleeper). This was not the case with the Eve topper. It seems to achieve a fine balance between softness/comfort and support and this is primarily why I chose to keep it. It's also worth noting that this seems to be the case for any sleeping position.Furthermore, the Eve topper seems to be able to increase support where the mattress below is too soft, and increase comfort where the mattress below is too firm. I tried both toppers on two mattresses (one firm, one soft) and whilst the Eve seemed to improve them both in different ways, the Panda was only suited to the firmer mattress.Another area in which the Eve topper surpassed the Panda topper was temperature management. The Panda topper, despite being made of "cool gel" memory foam, got far hotter than the Eve does. The Eve topper does not seem to get any warmer than a regular spring mattress. Its also worth noting that I'm a light sleeper and I'm no longer woken by my girlfriend getting out of bed before me each morning. Since sleeping on the Eve topper, I sleep through her arisal each morning, due to the foam surpressing vibrations better than spring mattresses do.The Eve also has a high quality, washable cover and the straps on each corner are particularly handy for keeping the topper attached to the bed, and for holding it in a rolled-up position when moving or storing it. Overall the build quality is very good.

Eve have the worst customer service ever encountered. No wonder they’re losing money & partners.
Absolutely the worst customer service…Absolutely the worst customer service ever encountered from a company that has such bad business performance.I had ordered a topper on Amazon which was great. We then said we would upgrade a mattress to the hybrid premium (there top of the range) from Eve direct. Firstly, the Eve website kept on emptying the basket when we went to pay. Then it wouldn't accept payment. When we called Eve customer service they said they would send a payment link. That also didn't work. This whole process took over two hours of holding on and waiting for links etc. Finally, we spoke to a manager who apologised and said he would take payment over the phone and provide an extra discount for the trouble. The bed arrived and is anything but as advertised in terms of soft top layer. Because of the springs, they are very evident and uncomfortable. We called to complain and were told and also had written confirmation that we could exchange the mattress for a premium non hybrid and see if that was better. The only thing we would have to pay is a GBP 30 delivery charge. This was in writing from them and as far as I'm concerned a contract upon which we relied. I was told we would receive a link to effect the GBP 30 payment.Several hours later I called Eve to ask where the link was, and I was informed that after consideration and review it looked like the discount we were given for the inconvenience when ordering was too great and Eve had decided that they would only exchange the mattress if we paid the difference to what they believed we should have paid (even though they gave us the discount). At no point did they say that the discount waved our rights as the mattress is not fit for purpose due to the springs digging in. Additionally as we have in writing that they would effect the exchange, by then saying they wont they are in breach of contract.Anyway, I wrote to the CEO James Sturrock on several occasion with not a single response. For a company in such a crowded market and by all accounts in the financial press could well be circling the drain, its incredible behaviour and if I was an investor I would be worried that yet again the leadership and management of the company may be contributing to its demise. Finally this afternoon I received an email from their customer service after I had copied in customer care. the CEO directly, requesting their Chairman to be cc'd, as well as investor relations and press office. The email said that their CEO and also head of customer service, Kay, had been appraised of the case and maintained that whilst it was all there fault they would ignore their own accepted offer to exchange the mattress for a delivery charge and that no exchange would happen unless we made up the difference from the extra discount they gave us by their own error. (by the way, we were advised that the discount was because they wanted to make up for the terrible purchase experience). Its such a shame and on something so easy to keep a customer happy when they were at fault. So very uncomfortable mattress (hence no reviews), terrible customer service and terrible ownership by management. If they want to resolve the matter they just have to say "Sorry, its been a big mistake. We will exchange the mattress as per the guarantee and as per the written binding offer if you pay the GBP 30 delivery".Any lawyer reading this that want to sue them for breach I'd be happy to speak with and only want the mattress and you can keep the monies if there is any.UPDATEJust rcvd a response saying I couldn’t upgrade without paying the difference. I already have the top premium mattress, so not an upgrade but changing for non hybrid because the springs can be felt and top not soft so I wanted to exchange for pure foam premium which is exactly the same price but won’t have springs digging in. Again they haven’t read or are trying to obfuscate. Terrible way to do business. Companies aren’t just judged on when things go wrong, they are mostly judged on how they sort things out. It is so easy to resolve.

Took a while to arrive but seems great so far
Had the topper for about a week now and it is super comfortable. It makes my VERY average sprung mattress that came with my rented flat feel like an actually comfortable and pleasant thing to sleep on. It took a little while to arrive, which is annoying but I feel it's been worth it in the end.The topper itself feels very premium in its materials and finishing and it seems like it'll be easy to transport to my next apartment in a year (weighs 10kg and will sling over my shoulder easily). Certainly easier than buying a whole mattress and transporting that every 6 months to a year and all the faff that goes with that. I'll have to wait and see how it ages and if the foam stays springy and comfy a year from now but otherwise I'd definitely recommend it (and already have).

I highly recommend this topper
I had a spinal fusion operation last year and found my mattress too firm, it was very expensive and not very old so I didn’t want to replace it. After much thought I decided on the Eve topper with much trepidation but to my surprise I couldn’t believe it as it has given me back comfortable nights sleep at last. It Is just the right thickness as you need to be able to fit your sheet on. Also it has the perfect degree of softness, I highly recommend it.

Comfortable and doesn't slide around, just doesn't suit my needs..
Found this topper comfortable but not as soft as l needed. It didn't slide around, which was good and the smell wore off after a couple of days. But l had to return it as just not suitable for my fibromyalgia. I ended up buying a tempur mattress which has been worth every very expensive penny!!! Excellent that you could try it for 30 nights...did have to pay for some of the return postage and very difficult to repack as came vacuum packed, but Eve refunded all the money and some of postage, so can't complain. A good product compared to others lve had.
