Bought gps in June of 2018 for both a tractor trailer (53 footer)and a straight truck, this gps will take you on roads where trucks do NOT belong. Will take you on parkways and back roads. I called customer service to ask about the issue only answer was do an update even though the gps was up to date. I would NOT recommend for anyone to buy. THIS IS NOT A TRUCK GPS!!!

I bought this product to replace my old Rand Mcnally gps. I could not be more disappointed! The interface is very easy to setup and use. It's when you go to use it, when the problems start. This is by far the worst truck gps I have ever used. Trying to use it in Northern Maine was super frustrating. Roads that I knew I could be on, the GPS would say was a car only route. Then it would try to take me down roads that I wasn't supposed to be on. I thought at first I set it up wrong so I called TomTom. They walked me through the process and confirmed that I had set it up right. Overall, I am very disappointed with this purchase. TomTom should stay out of the truck business. Leave it to the pros, Garmin and Rand McNally!

This could have been a great gps. If I could have only created an account with TomTom.You have to have an account to take advantage of the traffic, weather, and other updates....as well as updates to the maps. The trip planner, which is why I decided to dump my Garmin and jump to this TomTom in the first place, is a great trip planner that I was really impressed with, and I was really looking forward to using it and downloading the planned trips to the TomTom gps.........but no, you have to have an account and be logged in to use the app which is downloaded to your phone. So I attempted to create an account........would not let me......says I already have an account........try to do a password reset.......won't work....just says password reset failed. So I am stuck. There is no phone number to call or email address to send to with TomTom.So it's back to Garmin for me.

Programed for my truck at 13' 06" took me to a 12' underpass with no warning to height restrictions. never listed weight limits

Offered a discounted refund. I accepted it because this gps absolutely useless and NOT FOR TRUCKS! I lost $45 because I didn't get full refund. This is the second time when the description of the item doesn't match with the item. So it wasn't my fault but Amazon didn't care and refunded only 80% of the price. If you don't want to lose money and be angry about wrong navigation I don't recommend to buy this gps. Maybe it's okay for cars but I think you can find better gps for cars too.

I took the chance of ordering this gps for my husband who is a truck driver, eventhough I saw the ratings which we're over 2 years ago, thinking they would have updated it by now. This gps is absolute garbage. It had my husband all over the roads, areas a truck driver shouldn't be.. He used it the first week and I'm now returning it. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!

My Drive App – Does not know I am in Canada, gives me American look ups. Missing Canadian points of Interest Plan a route on app, send to GPS, GPS reroutes into some weird route. Continually sends notifications on the phone, even though notifications turned off.GPS 620 TruckerUsed in South Eastern Quadrant, Saskachewan, Saskatoon City east to provincial border, south to International• Maps 2+ years out of date. Major highway construction around Regina, Saskatchewan not there, completed over two years ago. As a trucker these are really needed.• Road around Saskatoon listed with wrong names, no speed limits, these roads have been named for many, many years.• Set do not use gravel roads, yet uses gravel roads• Posted speeds and GPS do often not agree.• Route mapping have no idea how it works. Use Google Maps to plan route, GPS useless on the route.Vehicle Set as Semi-truck.• Routs (Truck) on roads that are NOT truck routes.• Bridges heights?• Random speed limits that do not match posted limits• Not sure what max speed, weight in truck setting seem to do nothing.Worst and most useless GPS I have experienced, Maybe just be my area of Canada, but had to return.

Just garbage what good is a TRUCKER GPS which is supposed to take u around towns cities and expecially take you down truck routes NOT DIRECTLY THROUGH downtown of places try finding alternate route nope still smack dab where I'm NOT supposed to go luckily I knew better if your Canadian not crossing the border DO NOT BUY THIS GPS the app they say to use for traffic and custom route dose not work in Canada not not work just flat out isn't available.... All in all again Tom Tom your useless I'd rather a Garmin or Rand McNally

So far so good . I always loved TomTom , used my 6" car model for years . Now the truckers GPS is good for basic navigation and will find most of POI and addresses. It won't give you traffic updates as the software doesn't work in Canada and USA , I still use Google maps with it . Glass display is great in any light , I like graphic design much better over Garmin that I've used before ,especially Line Navigation . I was surprised but It didn't freeze in a tunel but kept showing my movement . Easy set up , you have to learn how to use it like any other device .And the price . I got it for less than $250 CAN refurbished , it came in original package with little tiny scrach on plastic cover. You can't beat that deal .

ALL Truckers be warned. This " TRUCKER" GPS is a total waste of your hard earned money. The GPS works fine but the feature for trucking is useless. When you go in the setting and enter your truck details, You are only able to enter to a maximum height of 4.3 Meters. When I haul, My loads are in Average 4.7 Meter high. SO there Useless
