Great Roomy Family Tent
My family of four have used this tent for a few years now, camping all around Arizona. It has held up really well. We love setting up sleeping quarters on the back end and having the front area to relax or change clothes easily as well as store our gear. It is big and heavy but for car camping it's great. While I have set it up by myself, it's a lot easier with two people. A couple of the plastic clips that secure the rain fly to the tent have broken. I would have wished they used a tie off or something other than plastic clips.

Not waterproof or resistant!!!
I've used this tent twice now. Once on the beach and once in the woods. I have very mixed feelings. As a tall tent we got unexpected 20 mph winds on the beach and it did not break but we had to take it down because it would have had we left it up.The biggest issue is my recent camp trip I went on we had a steady rain for 2 days. I had my pop up and tarps over the tent yet we had puddles in all 4 corners and the whole floor of the tent was damp despite having a tarp under it. We were on a site that was draining well so no standing puddles except the corners of our tent. I think you need to waterproof the bottom of the tent which I've never had to do before even in cheaply made tents. I'm incredibly disappointed in the waterproofing. I was not expecting more than some dampness at this price point. Not a river. The features of the windows reaming open do not make this worth it. Now I get to go spend a small fortune in waterproofing as it'll take a couple cans unfortunately.ProsNo tearsGood quality material as the windstorm did not break the poles or tear the fabricWindows that allow viewing even in a rainstorm8 person fits 3 comfortably with a cot and queen mattress beside each other leaving the opposite side for storage abd sitting.ConsNot good as a 2 room with divider because both doors are on one side of divider and divider in this model is partially see throughNOT even water resistant (hopefully waterproofing the floor and corners will help)Tall tent means not great in windstorm (this is an all tall tent issue)

Columbia has made a great tent!!
The majority of everything I buy is Columbia so when I saw that they made a tent. It was a must have for me because 80% of my trust in a item is the brand. So I knew that this company would make one of the best tents in the market.SETUPThis tent is easy to set up, and even easier to put away. The instructions are clear and because of that I was able to set it up by MYSELF within 10 minutes.WEATHERI luckily have not encounter any rain since I’ve been using it but if it did rain, I at least know that I can keep two of my windows open and watch the rain because of they way the tents made. The rainfly is a great addition because it buckled on to the tent in 1 minute. So it’s easy to take on and off for if you rather view the stars at night. There was a decent amount of wind but nothing blew away and the tent was perfectly sturdy.DESIGNIt’s very stylish and I personally think It is the best looking tent I’ve been able to find online. This is why I am giving my over all review 4 stars, I have two minor design issues that I would prefer we’re designed differently.First the tent divider is very transparent and I would not recommend changing while someone is on the other side, this divider also hooks on the tent, this divider comes separate and you can choose to put it on. I rather have the divider be attached to the tent itself so you feel like there are two different rooms in the tent, this divider is basically like a blanket that you attach in the middle to try and make two separate rooms. It works but I didn’t end up using it because it truly has no purpose since again it’s very transparent.Second the doors are on one side of the tent, so if you did hang a divider up, only one room has doors. I wish both sides each had a door. I don’t really plan on ever using one side of the door while camping so it should have just been a signed door. If the divider work how I’m picturing it then I would enjoy having two doors to keep open so I can sit in the shade under my tent but also have a sealed room off from bugs and animals.SLEEPING AT NIGHTThe tent has so many options on how to ventilate. If you seal all of the windows it can be a decent temperature and in the day time you can keep it cool with how many windows you can open.Over all I am happy with this tent and I look forward to using it as much as possible.Hopefully you’ll find this review helpful!!

Can’t wait to use this.
First and foremost I will say that I purchased this after what was likely my last camping trip of the season, so as of this moment, I’ve not used this tent. With that said, this purchase was made as a replacement for another Coleman tent. This one is a smidge larger and therefore fits my growing family just a bit better. I’m also a big fan of the colors of this tent. My last tent, which I still have, has held up terrifically through various conditions (we seem to get stormed on nearly every time we camp), without skipping a beat. The previous tent has also lasted more than ten years, and has held up almost perfectly. If the new tent holds up even half as well as its predecessor, this purchase can be regarded as a great success.Taking these items into consideration, I can’t wait for next season to get out and get camping with this tent. While it’s basically impossible to recommend an item without first testing it in the real world, I will say that this brand’s reputation precedes it, and I couldn’t help but recommend this brand for any outdoor recreational activities you might enjoy.
