Yes. The DP7 drum mic pack contains (2) ADX51 small diaphragm condenser mics typically used as overhead mics. These two mics will require phantom power to operate.

It would depend on the venue and how many people you are needing to cover at the location. The microphone system is a nice group of mics to get your kit covered for audio, but you would need to run the mic lines into a mixer and then some kind of speaker system. It all depends on your budget on what you want to spend. The more the system cost normally the better the sound. Your mixer would need to have at least 7 lines for these microphones to work.
