I've installed the product but my offfline grbl controller says the max motor rpm is still 10000. doesn't the gs-775m go to 20000 rpm?

Speed is relative - meaning, if GRBL is set to think the speed is 0-10000 it will be 0% at 0, and 100% at 10000. This is because speed is based on PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) so 0% is no pulses, 100% is full 5V, and 50% is half-the-time on and half-the-time off. If you don't change GRBL settings, and you have a 20K RPM motor, then 10000 speed will actually be 100% or 20K RPM. If you want the number to be closer to the motor speed, you can change your GRBL setting with "$30=20000" (in your sender console), and then 10000 will be 50% and 20000 will be 100%. Keep in mind that it won't be very accurate, and this is an "open loop" motor. There is no encoder or PID loop to manage the speed, so as soon as it starts cutting it will slow down.

what is suitable power source for this motor?

24volts? 2 12v batteries is what I used.
