Fasco Cab-O-SIL Fumed Silica thickener in Quart tub

This stuff mixed well with a Paraloid B-72 solution for fossil preservation.Highly recommend it!

Made my epoxy work sooo much better. The first time i used epoxy, it was very runny. If i had experience, i would have had it earlier.

Works will gel coat to make a much easier repair of fiberglass boats.

Works great to thicken your fiberglass project so you can control the flow. I used it on rounded surfaces with great success.

This thickens epoxy well. But to get it into a paste, you will go through this extremely fast. If you only add a bit, like 5%, it won't really increase the sandable quality enough.

First time using any epoxy product and the thickener was used for a thicker pour as well as another batch to coat vertical section of my transom (peanut butter consistancy). All uses didn't seem to compromise the epoxy.

Useful for potting an electric motor stator in epoxy resin for optimal heat exchange, preservation of hardened resin integrity and waterproofing. WEAR a good facemask to avoid breathing this extremely fine ground product!

Works great as an epoxy thickener. I have no tools to confirm but I feel the epoxy gets stronger with it. Works great for fillets in thin epoxy.
