Great series

I am reading this as a combined effort with my 3rd grade son and 5th grade daughter. Both enjoy it. My 3rd grader who is having a hard time with fluency is attempting and doing well. He is engaged with the story and excited to hear the story and read a little out loud. I highly recommend family reading together. Direct Ship Vs Mailing on your own - Very heavy

Books look nice in the display box. I assume great books given the reviews. Posted rating to state the obvious that I missed. Books are very heavy. I intended to wrap them pretty for B-Day and mail them. New plan - ordered new set, sent to home, sprung for $4 gift bag. Keeping the set for a local party.

My childhood

I originally read the first three books a long time ago and just sorta forgot about it, then i saw a video of someone talking about how there are six books and knew I had to read them. I absolutely adored finally seeing how the story ends or more so begins for the Bailey’s as their lives honestly just started at the end of the books leaving childhood behind for adulthood and growing up… it was a nice way to go as it sort of felt like I was learning something about myself with them.Beyond that beautiful writing, wonderful stories, and while some of it felt silly/ridiculous in its’ own ways I enjoyed it for what it is, a children’s book one that’s about how we never stop growing or learning and the adventures don’t have to end.
