It took me a while to figure out the best way to put this on. I had to start at the forward part of the cockpit and keeping my hands even slowly pull the elastic rope evenly around the cockpit rim. I don't have an anchor point at the front of the cockpit to use the strap they provide so it may be easier if you do. I actually found it was easier to do this myself than have help. It helps to pre-tighten the elastic rope that hold the cover on the cockpit rim. Not sure how the "warmth" category applies. I can say that this stayed on through the wind storm that went through the Boston area with hurricane force winds.

The cockpit cover appears to work; unfortunately it didn't work for me. I used the measurements listed on the description of my kayaks to select the size, but it turns out the measurements listed on the kayak was for the inside of the cockpit and this cover size is based on the outside dimension (around the outside of the cockpit lip). Because of the size of the lip around the kayak cockpit, the cover was too small. I had already tossed the packaging before discovering my mistake so it is too late to return the covers. 😭

Bought these to keep bugs & critters out of our kayaks during storage, and they are perfect for that. The plastic toggle for tightening the bungee is not very strong, but tying a knot in the bungee works just fine and the covers stay on. Ordered according to the size chart and they fit perfectly (size M for a Perception Conduit 13).

Super cheap and thin nylon material. Has some stretchy cording sewn in. Does not fit snugly enough to be very secure. Neither of these fit either of our kayaks cockpits well, but they will hopefully keep critters out of the yaks over winter. I doubt they will last very long outdoors, but we will see.

Is a great replacement for the originals. Seems to be well built. Use over time and subsequent durability to-be-determined.

It’s easy to use, but won’t stay on in gusts of winds while mounted outside on the side of our house. I wish it tightened down better to not zing back off due to it’s stretchiness.

I ordered two of these for my kayaks. IDK but they didn't work for my kayaks. if you have an accentuated lip opening that you can get these to go on they might work but like I said, didn't work for me. :/

Not a tight fit, but I wanted them to keep the insides clean, they are already in a dry location. The cord stop was cheap and does not keep the cord cinched down tight. Cheap! But, I got what I paid for and for my needs they are fine. Done buy them thinking they will keep the insides dry - once the water starts to puddle up the cover will collapse.
