This blanket is very pretty but I wish I had listened to other reviews who said the blanket isn't very soft. The material feels quite coarse and I am hesitant to use it when my baby is born - in all likelihood I wouldn't want to use this for the first few months at least, because the material does feel rough.I haven't washed it yet, and I know some others have said this helps with the softness. But I have purchased other blankets that are soft right out of the packet. Despite being very pretty I wouldn't buy another.

I bought this blanket to my baby boy so he have another one beside the soft wool one. He likes to be swaddled with blanket so I was hoping to get another to do so. However this cotton cellulal blanket seems a good quality and washes well, it is too "rough" for swaddles and I also found it too thick to tuck it under my baby. Although it is perfect on the go and we like to use it in the carrycot.If you looking for a blanket for daytime naps or for a carrycot this will do the job, but I wouldn't use it overnight when a newborn needs to be tucked in properly.I hope you found my review helpful.

This is a lovely, soft blanket at a very good price. And although it is a traditional blanket, the colour range is modern - the dusky pink is just right for my granddaughter's nursery.

We absolutely love this blanket and have used it since birth for our newborn daughter. The blanket is much better quality than your average 'Cellular Blanket' (its quite heavy!) making it much warmer and better value for money. We were also really happy to see that this blanket was recommended by Midwives, always reassuring when a professional does so. We're so impressed with how its doing so far, especially after washing and drying so much! I'd also say that its a really good size and we have used it in both the cot and the pram, as well as on the carpet for added softness during tummy time. Would make a lovely newborn gift too! I've already recommended to lots of people and will continue to do so, well done Mama Designs!

Great quality and size for our newborn baby!

Really pleased with this. Gorgeous quality. Generous size. Washed well. Really soft and nice thickness. Best cellular blanket I’ve found. And I’ve tried most of them - from John Lewis (always thin and scratchy) to all sorts from Amazon (hit and miss!).

Fantastic quality and beautiful look. It's a bit thick so I have a muslin blanket as the lighter option. Worth every penny. I was so happy with quality that I ordered the same but bigger option for my baby crib.
