Pads are too thick.
Pads are too thick, as another poster has said. When installed there's too much drag on the rotor, yes I pressed the caliper back in and checked pads for burrs.Burned pads in, no change now gonna have to take them out and sand them down. Bummer.Other than that, they stop fine (can lock up a knobby on pavement) aren't grabby so can modulate them and so far have been 100% quiet on an initial 10 mile mostly dirt ride.Still, since I have to take them out again, 2 stars is it.

Can't install them
These pads are so thick that it's actually impossible for me to install them into the Promax 300R calipers that came on my All-City SpaceHorse. They might be good pads, but I would have to sand them down in advance just to get them installed. Not worth the hassle, I'll just get a different brand.I gave two stars though because maybe the problem is with my calipers and not the brakes. They might be terrific on a bike where they can actually be installed. I'll never know.

Does not replace BB5- terrible quality control
These do not fit as a replacement for my BB5 brakes. They send you two sets which sounds great for the price. One arrived with the pad separated from the backing. Another had a pad that was twice as thick as the rest. From the two that were left, the first pad fit in and once you get the other in, theres a constant drag on the rotor. Do yourself a favor and purchase a different kind.

Do the job
Decent pads for the money, use on a trike that I run my dog daily with for 2 miles. I only use on rear axle and much higher quality pair as well as floating rotoron front wheel where most of your stopping happens. My trike is also e powered so stopping it with additional pulling of a very powerful dog can be quite a challenge as well as a little costly. Go through many pads and rotors, these are best fit for me on the rear as I said before.I think they would work very for a everyday rider as well as much less expensive than the name brand.

Good pad for the price.
Purchased this to replace an OEM Avid BB5 disc pad. Wasnt willing to pay a lot of $$ for OEM BB5. Replacement took less than 5 minutes to complete for both front and rear. You have to make sure your dial’s are all the way out for this to fit. Once inserted and locked with the pin all you have to do is readjust how close your pads are to the disc. For the price this is a no brainer. Good braking.

Great brake pads at a great price!
These took about 10 min to install, don't squeal, have a nice (firm) feel and stop the bike as expected. No idea how long they'll last since I just installed them but so far so good. Hard to beat for $10 delivered!

What's with that squealing??
These pads work perfectly fine and stop well. ...Until you ride in the rain, or even just a slight dampness. Then they start squealing so loudly you'll be afraid to hit the brakes. And it won't go away when they dry again. You'll have to pull the pads and sand them lightly to stop it. It'll be back next time they get wet. I just ordered some other pads...
