So far these seem to be holding up to the monstrous mirror frame that I needed to hang.

I've used French cleats for years to hang heavy objects on walls, and these do it well.I had a pair of stereo speakers I wanted to hang on my garage walls, as what good is a garage to work in if you don't have tunes? I didn't want to have to put a bunch of drywall anchors in or build shelves to hold them, so French cleats seemed like the perfect way to hang them with minimal effort and almost no additional projection away from the wall.It was a simple matter to center and screw one of the cleats to the top edge of each speaker, and then do the same on the wall where I wanted each to hang. Using a level to make sure they were, well, level, I screwed the other half of the cleats to the walls and then hoisted the 50 pound speakers up and onto the cleat.It's a simple design/concept, and it holds a lot of weight without adding a great deal to the depth of the object being hung. That's what I like about French cleats, and these are certainly the real deal!

Had to hang a mirror and to be safe purchased these to hang it instead of using the side hangers on the mirror.. these came fast worked perfectly and safe for anyone feeling they need to touch a mirror
