This product is amazing for rosacea and acne prone skin. I saw results immediately and it keeps getting better with consistent use! Definitely worth the higher price point.

This serum works very well, but I'd say use with caution if you have sensitive broken/ irritated skin. The first few times I used it, it very quickly reduced the redness in my face (I often have red and irritated skin). It absorbed very well and made my skin feel soft. I used it another time when my face had been itchy and irritated and it burned quite badly where I must have had open areas in my skin. So just be careful when using and don't use when you have really irritated skin. I don't often get acne so I'm not the best judge for this aspect, but my skin does look smoother. It's a high pricepoint but does actually appear to work and have results.

I've used several Allies of Skin products over the years with mixed results--for some reason I seem to either love or despise what they offer with few products landing in-between those points. This serum, happily, falls securely on the "love" side of the ledger!I should begin by stating that neither hyperpigmentation nor acne are issues for me and I cannot speak to its efficacy for those concerns. I ordered this specifically for its brightening and smoothing effects, and it absolutely delivers on both! The 1% kojic acid is a little on the low side, but 10% azelaic seems to be the sweet spot for my skin.The serum is an opaque white with the consistency of a light lotion. Just 2-3 pumps are needed to do both face and neck, and I find that the serum sinks in almost instantly. It leaves no residue or tackiness, and I have not experienced any pilling (an issue I've had in the past with a couple AoS products); it works equally well on its own or under makeup, and I've experienced no breakouts or irritation after use. The serum is unscented. The packaging is premium across the board, which is as expected for this decidedly upscale brand.The brightening effects are visible almost instantly, and my husband commented on my "glow" after the first use! It took a bit longer to see it impact the evenness of my skin tone, but it works better for that that literally any product I've tried before.It is definitely not a budget product, but--for me, at least--the benefits more than outweigh the price. I am hugely impressed and will never willingly be without this serum. Highly recommended!
