Made in USA, but CPT might be overkill
This is a quality capacitor and its specs match what I needed for my compressor unit, but its price reflects the fact that it includes a Compressor Protector Terminal (CPT). CPT is important for AC compressors that have a hard-start kit built in, but mine does not so the CPT would not have been used. Amazon has an exact match to my original (failed) capacitor, same manufacturer and part number, for about half the price, so I returned this one.

Arrived in good condition
Described as a replacement for Jard 12786 but is not exact and didn’t work for this AC. Waited past 30 days so it’s mine. Would recommend and try again upon being sure they are a match. My bad..

They have patents..cost up to 35.00 but well worth it. See the warranty. Made in usa

Easy install
This worked really well. Took about 30 minutes, but that was mostly due to the cover of the unit being difficult to reattach, had nothing to do with the capacitor. Fan started right back up after restoring power.

Opened box
Just received the part and the box seal was broken. To use, or not to use, that is the question? I would typically not use because of the unknown.
