SPARES2GO 17 Piece Laminate Floor & Furniture Repair Kit

I’ve had this kit for over a year now to fix holes and scuffs in a hard wood floor. It is very useful. It is a bit hard to keep the button pressed to heat the device but beside that it is very easy to use. Took a bit of trail and error to learn how to mix colors to get the desired color of the floor. I have been using it every few months.

Delighted with this product. It offers lots of ways to repair laminate floors. The kit is comprehensive with lots of waxes and tools. Hope I can do the repairs as well as this kit presents itself.

We had two breaks in oak laminate fron dropping heavy item. This product did the job! Very happy with results. There is alot of wax colours in the pack so you can get good results we watched a video on utube to see how to do the job. We would reccomend this product as easy to get job done be careful as unit fets very hot.

I was concerned that not being arty I would struggle to blend the wax colours but I needn't have. It is very easystem and the first repair was virtually invisible. It's important to start with the light colour finstead and then build up the dark tone and textures. I have used on two shades of laminate flooring and the range of colours worked well with both. The reason for 4 stars is that although it works well with scratches of say over 0.5mm it is difficult to get the colour to take to surface scratches. You almost need to deepen them to be able to build the colour. And because it is a wax system and not an adhesive resin damage that is nearly as deep as the laminate tends to flex with use and so doesn't stay tight to the holes edge. That said it makes a near invisible patch and his hugly cheaper than relaying the floor after someone has dropped a trolly jack on it (just saying 😡).I would strongly recommend this product and also doing a YouTube search to see how to use it. One last thing. The heating tool becomes slow to heat adequately quite quickly so some fully charged rechargeable, replacement batteries or a soldering iron with a suitable tip will help if like me you had lots of bits of damage in several rooms to do.

The colour variety is poor.

Had to drill a hole in some vinyl click flooring to pump some adhesive to support a soft spot. That seems to have worked and the hole is nicely filled using the wax and heated probe. Quite impressive it looks like a knot in the plank .However only the 2nd time I used it, it packed up ! Thought it was just the batteries but no the heated tool has failed. Easy return and credit to my account. I would pay more if they produced a better quality heater tool . It's a shame as I rather like the concept. Decided to buy a soldering iron with craft type end pieces, should be more reliable.

Great little set but doesn’t include black so I would also buy a black so you can blend to make grey tones if you need them.The switch on the mini heating iron was a bit intermittent but I was able to unscrew it and bend the contacts to improve it.Would definitely buy again.

Easy to use and worked really well on some deep scratches on laminate flooring.
