Love the smoothness of this coffee. My husband and I can both drink it. He likes caffeine, I don’t do so well with it. This satisfies both needs and tastes. Personally, I prefer to either brew bold with less grounds or else brew without the bold setting and more grounds. Don’t like both. Gets a bit too strong or maybe acidic for me. Not sure if acidic is even the correct word. But this is what works for my more sensitive and smooth loving palate. Enjoy!

These beans arrived freshly roasted whole beans. Ideal for espresso brewing and smells wonderful. Not bitter, very smooth taste and good crema on top of my pulled shot. I would highly recommend and even purchased more.

I usually bought the small bags of the Waverly house espresso, and then I started buying a 2 pound bag of another brand, then I found the 2lb pound bag on Amazon and switched back to the Waverly espresso and I could not believe the difference: The taste of the Waverly was ten times better. It is more expensive but well worth the price. I also took a class on how to make espresso at Joe Coffee. As I drink a double expresso black, when I use the Waverly espresso it is smooth and you can taste the subtle ingredients in the espresso.

I would have given it 5 stars except that the roast date was from early November 2020 so the bag I got (purchased the Daily) was over 2 months old. It's still really good coffee but for almost $17 a bag I expect to get one that is freshly roasted or at least a roast date that's within the same month I ordered it.

Joes coffee was fresh and delicious. Supporting the small batch coffee roasters as their products are so much better then the big companies.

When you buy coffee beans and you pay more in a local store it is because you want them fresh roasted!!!! For espresso it is a must to be fresh!!!... this was rosted more than two month before... and... it was T E R R I B L E....no cream etc etc... it is the second time I bought... yes...shame on me

This coffee was really good in flavor, but had to be friended at a much larger grind size than normal (breville machine). I would buy them again, but I don’t know if the size of the beans are worth it. They were half the size of regular coffee beans and seemed to require more to get the accurate for espresso machine

Excellent Coffee!I think I can speak for most people when I say that all I want is good cups of coffee. High pressure marketing tries to separate you from your money with claims of 'ten times the normal amount of caffeine because OUR coffee is grown in hydroponic vats under optimum conditions of light and nutrients PLUS our research scientists have cracked the coffee plant's DNA code!' or 'Only the Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee Board has the right to sell genuine Jamaican Blue Coffee. Look for the label, and if the price seemed reasonable, then you know that it's not genuine JBM coffee. I like Joe coffee. It's unpretentious and while there's a bit of marketing with a nod towards NYC, it's not overbearing. It is what it is: good coffee. It comes as advertised, and I'll drink to that. I've got a thermos full of Joe right next to me on my desk and am enjoying it.
