Solid Performance and good value
This is the second CST tire I've upgraded to on my old Trek XC hardtail with stock 26x2.0 Bontrager tires. My local tire shop put 26x2.25 CST heathens on my rear tires and I loved them, so once my fronts needed replacing, I threw on these BFT 26x2.4. I generally ride easy and intermediate trails with the occasional small drops, and just from a couple days of riding, I can notice a big improvement in grip and confidence. These tires are fat and grabby compared to what I'm used to. With this improvement in grip and width, I've noticed it's slightly more effort to climb and I have a little less agility but the trade off is totally worth it. I'm very impressed with the performance from these tires and would recommend them to any riders wanting to improve grip. It's also really cool that CST offers tires for 26 inch wheels - big props for that!

Great for the money
I wasn't sure what I was going to get for this price point, but I was not disappointed. Wanted to step up from a 2.0 to a 2.4 and this was a great way to try it out. Big grippy knobs and looks good.

Nice BIG tire...
Big, beefy tire. Similar tread to the Maxxis Minions. Rolls surprisingly well given the size/knob height. Cannot complain given the relatively low price point.

Stoked on em’
Awesome budget tires that work well for my local riding spots (Southern California). I bought these for an older full suspension rebuild project and they look great. They are a true 2.4” width tire and I was able to squeeze them between the forks and frame, replacing the 2.3’s that came on the bike.

Real good
Crazy good grip and price is right. Actually measures true to size, 2.35 to 2.4 with calipers. Make sure your frame has clearance, old xc frames may not. The bike i bought these for didn't so i swapped tires around and ended up with two working setups. If you are still riding 26's this is probably your best bet as long as you don't count parts weights in grams.

If they fit, you'll love em
Man... I just switched from 2" tires to these 2.4". You can really see the extra width, and the bike stands a bit taller. They barely fit on my old Giant XTC NRS-3. I had to let some air out to squeeze them passed the calipers and them pump them back up after. The ride is AWESOME! I just did some trail today, and they really grip the dirt, rocks, and even gravel. They work awesome on gravel actually. Not even a ton of road noise on asphalt either... Get your calipers out and measure for 2.4" and make sure you have extra top clearance on your fork. If so, buy away! you won't regret it.

The absolute best tire value around
these 26 x 2.4 tires are absolutely fantastic!! they are a great value but what makes them great is that they work so well.. i've been riding on hardpack single track and they are sooooo much better than the BRAND NAME tires they replaced.. i have ridden a lot in the month that i've had them and all i have are rave reviews... you won't be disappointed if you buy these.. this is my brand until they quit making them which i hope won't happen..

Not bad, comfortable and grippy but very heavy
I'm not much of an MTBer, but I've been trying to dabble. I've put these tires on a converted single speed setup and they've been alright. These are much quieter on pavement than expected, and they roll very well considering the amount of knobs they have. Big plus. Most of my rides have been muddy as of late, they do okay but they don't shed mud as well as some other tires would. I'm hoping to test them on more hard pack stuff later. Still grip better than I would expect.Either I can't get the bead on my front tire to settle properly, or something is uneven. I can see part of the tread dip on one side, but I've tried to re-seat the tire a few times with no success. I can't feel anything bad, but I can see how uneven the tire is seated. Could be my fault, though. The biggest problem I've noticed is the weight. Because the tires are heavy, it can be really hard to get going. Climbing sucks (climbing isn't great on a single speed anyway, but these make it harder) but the weight keeps you rolling down hills. If I were to do this again, I would reconsider whether or not I needed tires this wide (I'm sure 2.25-2.3 would have been fine) and I would have gone with a folding bead. I would also go tubeless. The cost is attractive, but it might be worth it to spend a little more money for a more lightweight, useable setup.
