Its a matter of where the rod is stiff, not how much. A fast rod bends more towards the tip, the rest is stiffer. A moderate the whole rod bends.

I’ve had braid on two for several years and no problem.

Hi Mohammed, The Lure weight for the 5' Brutus is 1/32-1/4. As long as you stay within the weight you should not have a problem with the rod performance for jigging.

Yes The reel will fit on the rod. I have a Penn and I assume the Diawa will also
