I have been enjoying this helmet. This is my first helmet with a visor and I really like it. I have always worn sunglasses before; not really for the sun but because it keeps bugs and dust out of my eyes. I find that the visor works even better than sunglasses do.The helmet itself fits well and feels comfortable and lightweight as I wear it. The insides are easy to remove if you need to adjust or clean them. It is easy to adjust the back as well with the knob for tightening or loosening the helmet.The first time I rode with this I had to adjust the helmet a bit so that the visor was high enough to not touch my nose but not so high that there was a huge gap if I looked down. Overall I prefer the visor over sunglasses as it feelsl more natural like there is nothing there (including bugs and wind... will be really nice when it is winter). I also really like how the visor just snaps on with magnets; if you don't want to wear the visor, you simply pull it off the helmet. Cool beans.

This helmet is fantastic. When I received the package in the mail, I honestly worried that Basecamp had forgotten to put the helmet in the box because it was so light! Which is perfect for me, because I have chronic migraines and most helmets give me head pain after only a short ride, but not with this helmet. It also has an extended range of adjustability. If you're like me and have a weird head size that's hard to accomodate, buy this helmet! I promise it will be able to adjust to fit you, no matter how tiny or enormous your head is. It also has far better air flow than any helmet I've owned in the past. It kept my head nice and cool during a hot day's ride. No more arriving to my destination with a sweat-soaked scalp!The visor is obviously the best part. My husband and I used to have to carry a small backpack with us because we both wear prescription glasses, and would need to swap between glasses and sunglasses during our ride depending on where we went. Now we can just wear our regular glasses and flip the visor down when it's sunny! It's easy to put up or down even while on the move thanks to the magnets. We got a few weird looks but honestly the convenience is worth all the stares in the world. My visor was missing the left magnet and it wasn't anywhere in the package, but luckily I had spare magnets in a similar size and glued a spare on to fix the issue.

My wife was very pleased when her new bicycle helmet arrived because it looks great and is a big upgrade over her previous helmet. Previously she had never spent more than $20 on a helmet so neither of us knew what to expect when we ordered this one. At first we were surprised by the extreme light weight; so much that I almost thought Amazon had sent me an empty box, but when we started looking at it and testing it we found the material to be very sturdy and feels safe which is what we want in a helmet. The back LED is very easy to use (you just press on it to turn it on!) and toggles through 3 different modes. Another feature she really loves is the detachable magnetic visor which doubles as a bug guard and sunglasses.

This seems like a great helmet. Fits perfect, comfortable and looks cool.The minus one star rating was because the helmet came in a plastic bag. No box, no paperwork, no warranty info, nothing but a few extra parts that I don’t exactly know what they are for. I wrote the company to ask and we will see what response I get. Update forthcoming..Update: no replay from "customer service" after a week of trying twice. Still a great looking helmet, fairly comfortable but not frills packing and lacking support if needed. Minus 2 stars - one for packing and one for missing supportUPDATE: 10/26/18I added two stars for customer support. Was contacted by company and am satisfied with their commitment to customer service and follow up. Their helmets are great design and fit as expected. I have not seen any tests on the safety features (compared to other helmets or any ASTM Standard) but there was no packaging to read up on any of these features which is why I originally removed one of the stars. There is a CPSC logo for testing the light but a helmet safety test would be an improvement. I just went by the Amazon description and am enjoying the look and feel of the helmet. Looking forward to using it.

Perfect choice for my safety. It bought about a month ago and have been using this usually. I like the visor and how it is detachable. It came with a front light too. It's lightweight and comfortable. I would recommend this.

My son absolutely loves this helmet and I'm planning getting one too. It is very well designed, with plenty of airflow, and is highly adjustable (my 8 year old son is at the lower end of the size range, and I have an XXL noggin, and the adjustable dial allows it to fit either of us snugly). The visor seems great for keeping wind and sun out of the eyes (with enough room for glasses underneath), which is the main reason I'm interested, but I don't have any personal experience with it. The magnets seem quite strong, making easy to put the visor up/down while keeping it secure in either position. It also has a mesh liner to keep insects from flying into your helmet and biting/stinging you (I've heard some horror stories), a nice padded chin strap and a built-in flashing tail light.I know that not all helmets are equal safety-wise, but I'm not sure how to evaluate that. Coverage seems good though.

First ride was an hour wearing this helmet and im enjoying it. I wear glasses and the visor fits over them with not very much room but that was expected. The pads are removable but you may have to replace some of the velcro after repeated use. The magnets do a good job of securing the visor and im not concerned about it falling off. The fit is just right and looks really good so four stars all day for this helmet. Im leaving off one star for liner quality but i think you will be pleased with it just like i am.
