Will this clear case quickly go yellow?

No. The acrylic back will never yellow and is highly scratch resistant to ensure that it stays clear for longer. The sides are made from TPU. While all TPU yellows over time when exposed to sweat, heat, and sunlight, the material used in this case is high quality and resists yellowing. We recommend regularly cleaning your case and avoiding leaving it under the sun for extended periods of time in order to keep it clear for as long as possible.

The top and bottom have raised edges but the sides do not. Will my phone be fully protected in the event of a fall that is not necessarily a corner?

Yes. If it lands on a flat surface, like a concrete sidewalk, the phone's glass screen will not be touched. I've had mine for a month, I e dropped it on concrete, wood, sidewalk, driveway, etc and nothing has touched the glass. I've dropped it from my hands, so that's a 4 or 5ft drop when holding it up, or thereabouts.

How stable is the stand when you have the phone upright, is the stand stable enough to be able to use the phone or draw with the stylus?

Stable for me upright or on either edge. Haven't tried to write on screen on stand.
