Hi there! This pad contains four sheets each of the following colors — Dark Gray, Felt Gray, Steel Gray, Flannel Gray, Pearl, and Pearl Gray.

Will this paper accept an alcohol wash for setting a pastel underpainting?

No. The paper is for pastel only.

is this one sheet or several?

There’s 24 sheets 6 different shades. I like them. Have fun drawing.

Is this good with charcoal Lack or colored? Is the surface rough or double sided?

It should work equally well with charcoals as with pastels. The paper seems to be the same texture on both sides. It has some "tooth" but is not rough. Charcoal blending techniques should work well.
