Laptop Stand Alternative for Keyboard Players
I recently started using Mainstage as my main live performance Keyboard rig. I needed something that would allow my laptop to be close so I am not straining my eyes to see the screen and something that would allow my laptop to be within reach in case I needed to make any tweaks. I purchased the following three (3) items to achieve what I was after. So far I am very pleased to say the least.Components purchased are:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077V2VC7P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BT7EA18/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010QZD6I6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1If the keyboard is oriented where I am playing in the standing position the RockJam Pro Laptop Stand will telescope to a maximum height of 40.5 inches to the bottom of the laptop. This is using the AmazonBasics Notebook Laptop Stand Arm Mount Tray instead of tray supplied with the RockJam unit. The AmazonBasics Laptop stand is constructed of heave gauge steel and is rock solid. I did not care for the included RockJam tray. It was too flimsy and I did not have any confidence in it. The computer (2017 MacBook Pro) is very stable at the maximum extended height and does not demonstrate any concerns of tipping over.My favorite piece is the Bracket Pole Mount Double Arm by Pro Signal. The clamp is designed to mount on a pole with a minimum diameter of 1-3/8 inches. The RockJam telescoping pole has an outside diameter of 1 inches. Too small for the Bracket Pole Mount Double Arm. So I used industrial grade heat shrink that has resin built into the heatshrink to keep water and moisture out (Electrical application Heatshrink). I applied two (2) layers of this heatshrink and the Pole mount clamp fit very snug to this and holds its position without sliding.Sturdyness 5-stars; Stability 4-stars since the tray is very flimsyHope this helps someone!

Not using this for Music, Just a Laptop stand
I was impressed with how sturdy it is, how easy it went together, and it's versatility. Best Laptop stand I have ever ordered. Large enough for my wireless keyboard, mouse, laptop as well as paper and pen. I will be the first to admit I don't have thousands of dollars worth of equipment on it, nor am I jamming out (or whatever you kids call it now) but it works great for me. Light weight and very portable and folds up.

Great stand, easy to assemble.
Knew when it arrived it was probably used by the tape on the box, figured ok lets see what we got. Took it out and there were signs of use, little nicks here and there. Put it together anyway, I mean it's a table, so what if it was a return, everything went together easily. Very sturdy, adjustable to my desired height. Using as a mixer stand and is great.

Most okayest stand
I bought this stand to use as a projector stand, its not level so the image always tilts. Also, tilting the stand upside down caused a piece to fall out and without it the stand is lose and swivels from side to side at the slightest touch. It is sturdy with how much weight it can take, but I can't really imagine how you would use this for a laptop stand comfortably either.

Order with Care - Bent "T" bar
Pros: Decent for the money. Somewhat sturdy for holding laptops (not much heavier). Easy to assemble. Arrived fairly quickly.Cons: Severely awful smell from packaging. Like others (oddly enough a guy with the same first name and last initial as me) a bent "T" bar. Flat top was textured but still slick. Questionable gluing or attachment of the angled end at bottom of flat top. I elected not to send the bent "t" bar unit back as the effort to re-pack and pay to ship back wouldn't be worth it. Overall, if I had to buy it again, I would not.

Makes a great T-Stand for my bird
I bought this originally to use the t-bar as a t-stand for my bird, then I found the table top is easy to put on and take off, and fits perfectly in my camping bin, so it's now a multi use item. It's a T-stand for my bird at home, then a portable table for me to take when I go camping.

Sharp, uncomfortable, piece of junk
This seems like something that would be the same as every other one, but just go for Pyle (or an equivalent). The thing was a flat (it was kinda warped) sheet of hard plastic with unfinished edges that had a strip of the same plastic welded on the bottom edge. The competitors are lighter and just as sturdy thanks to clever design using a webbed reinforcement rather than a flat piece of plastic. The competitors have a lip that surrounds the entire work surface. The competitors have finished, filleted edges that won't cut you open. They put zero effort into this and it shows.
