One Place for All
Well...this is to be seen as a reference book. The font size is small...and there is harshly any white space in the margins...that’s means there is a LOT of text between the two covers. I can guess there is almost 50 to 100% more text than in another book of same size. So it may not be an easy read... but VEDAS are a compilation of generations of wisdom and not a text for leisurely reading... go...get this book for reference...everything in a compact bundle.

Not for those who would like to flip through the pages
The only translation in English with no interpretation and that is a plus because no one can say that the comments are biased. Not for those who would like to flip through the pages. Read a page or less every day and then ponder over it.Those interested in our ancient texts should only buy this book.

An English translation of the Vedas.
I would recommend against buying this book if you want to understand the Vedas. All this contains are literal translations of the mantras. It doesn't even have the mantras, either in Devanagari or in Roman script. Moreover, it's a Western worldview of what the Vedas are supposed to mean. So much has been lost in translation, but i didn't know it at the time.Definitely skip this if you're serious about understanding the Vedas. You're better off learning to chant the Vedas instead of reading this nonsensical translation.

Okay
The book is okay. But the problem is that the devanagari script Sanskrit verses have not been included. Also the word for word translation is missing.
