Sony SRS-XB40/BC IN5 Portable Bluetooth Speakers (Black)

The media could not be loaded. Had my eyes on this one for a month or two. I watched several YouTube videos comparing this to jbls and other Bluetooth speakers and finally made up mind to get this one for a couple of reasons, first one being the extra bass button and second being its LEDs and the customisability it comes with. Jbl doesnt give you an option to turn off bass(you can control it with an equalizer but it doesnt really get rid of it as it does by turning off the extra bass button on sony), some songs dont need that heavy feel to them but with jbl u are stuck with it, on the other hand jbl has battery indicator on the speaker itself where as sony doesnt.Good build quality and crisp sound, sony knows the game.Buy it !

It's a damn KNIGHT BLASTER party speaker I ever got. Just put it under the wooden table or wooden bed(literally I mean it) to get its amazing sound beats n BASS specially in the midum size room. At 30-40% volume you'll hear nice and deep bass clarity. If you play it into a huge hall, bass gets less effective but sound is amazingly louder.Disco Lights ka toh kya kehnaa... If you get by any chance please check these disco lights in a dark room, before you planning to buy.👌But you'll enjoy 8hrs of party with disco lights and without lights 24hrs battery.Download SongPal app then download Fiestable supporting app and then enjoys the more light effects, tapable-shakable DJ effects and also equalizer for better sound quality. NFC also works excellent.Sony should've provided some strips to hold this device for better handing purpose.But overall thanks to Sony for this amazing toofani XB portable speaker series and I must thanks to Amazon for very fast delivery service. 👍

It seems nice but will be testing it in coming months. Sound is good. Emphases on lows is given. Vocals sound nice and mids are also fine. I am not found of the party lights but it is there anyway. the sony app works fine.In terms of portability, it is little heavy but it is sturdy (Not as sturdy as BOSE Revolve+). If can travel with it, it will not dissapoint you.There is only tow options in India in this price range. I can not speak for JBL but yes Bose is nice but is costly, like 12k costly. This is good investment for someone who need to have decent Bluetooth speakers. There are other features which may not concern you but they are there. Party lights as i have already said, it is there. splash proofed which is also nice.Overall , as i have already said there not many options in market to choose from. You can go with it and will not be disappointed.

Bass is too good. Have been experimenting with the songpal and fiestable app., you can change the EQ, play with the lights, though fiestable app is not that of much use for a regular guy me, it's good for showing off. Button presses are a little hard but give good tactile feedback. The body is rubberised so a dust magnet. The speaker can get really loud. Though it is marketted as portable, it is not at all. Register your product first at Sony India site after buying. I got it at 13,100 INR.

After using for around 1 year sound quality deteriorated. Bass becomes moderately mumble and acoustic becomes quite a bit unclear. It is still durable though. I am a hardcore user.

Super fast delivery by Amazon, got it within 24hrs of placing the order!! The speaker is absolutely amazing. Purchased this to upgrade from jbl charge 2 which worked decently for a good 2yrs. The SRS XB40 is a bit bulky and on the heavier side, but the build quality is excellent. Bass is strong and punchy and does not distort. Mid-range is also perfect and the speaker performs amazingly well. Not too fond of the leds light (fortunately u can keep them off even when using the speaker). Absolute must buy if you are considering to spend about 13000 for a bluetooth speaker.

I have rate this product as 1 star just because of the Amazon supplier of my product.Reasons :-1. I was dispatched a old version product by Appario Retail Private Ltd.2. Once the battery reaches 50% or down , volume level goes to 50% down and then you cannot increase your speaker .3. The box did not Contain User Manual,Guidebook,warranty card also bill was printed blur.for following above reasons I had to replace my product .the new product gave me The box did not Contain User Manual,Guidebook,warranty card also bill was printed blur.Today i will test its battery life again and will and confirm.

Have used it for 4 years now.Not overtly impressed by its sound signature.Has a muffled bass heavy sound.No value for money.
