Good tripod but little over-priced
This is a good tripod for professionals only little over-priced. In my opinion around INR 4,000/- would be a good price for the item.

waste of money indeed
Very sub-standard product from a great company Manfrotto. Price is high comparing. No value for money. Packing wasn't fare. Some scratches and muddy spots were on the item. As it seemed Seller gave an old item.

Light and sturdy - for the right camera
I bought this tripod because I wanted to use it with my very small and light Fuji X100V. My camera weighs less than a pound, and this tripod is the perfect tripod for it. If you want to travel small and light and still be able to have an almost full size tripod at your disposal, this Manfrotto is it. The ballhead is tiny but works really well, and the legs are thick and robust. I love the clips (they are much easier to use), and the center column can be extended easily. I am fully aware of this tripod's limitations. For example, don't overtighten the screws. I put some rubber spaces in there so there is less of a chance for it. Also, don't overestimate its weight capabilities. Don't expect this tripod to be good for extreme conditions, like sand and ocean water and such. It can't be taken apart and cleaned. But for a travel tripod that can fit inside your bag, this works well. I wanted Peak Design, but this is a good substitute: it's about the same circumference, the same length closed, weighs half and costs about 1/5 of the price of the cheapest alternative from Peak Design. If you have a small camera or phone, this is it.

Read all the reviews so you know if it is right for your needs.
It's solid enough. I wouldn't use it for landscape on a windy day or trust it with a full body DLSR with a heavy lens. It is very steady when it is not extended, so as a table or short tripod it is great. Super light-weight and small enough to stow away easily. If it is fully extended with an autofocus lens, you're going to get some movement. You could weigh the center down if you really wanted to but that negates the purpose of having a lightweight tripod.Easy telescoping and since it is Manfrotto I expect the clips to last. If not, I will update the review.Highly recommend purchasing the quick release adapter as an addon. It's not required but I like the ability to just clip the camera on and off the tripod quickly instead of using a screw fastening system. If I had read the reviews before purchasing I would have bought a different tripod. It's a little too lightweight for my current needs but I really like it so I am keeping it. I am sure I will use it when we travel.

Well balanced price/performance.
Decent tripod for casual use. I needed something light and small without breaking the bank and this fit the bill. Much sturdier than crappy box store tripods without being heavier (and it packs smaller). For my use, the fact that is doesn't use qr plates is a distinct advantage. They give you a nice big knob to spin the screw.

Fantastic for a phone
I purchased this for my phone as I do phone photography. It is extremely light weight so great for packing around and carrying. Note that everything on this tripod is plastic, including the ball head. So not sure about how long this tripod will hold up long term but we will see. Only a couple things is because it's very compact, it's not very tall. I'm 6'3" and when the tripod is fully extended as tall as it will go, it's just tall enough for me. I would have liked it a little taller, also the ball head being plastic worries me about how long it will last. Lastly the leg clamps that extend the legs are also plastic and to me might be the weakest point. But all in all I am happy with this tripod and for the price I am getting a lot of use out of it and I would recommend it for others to use with a phone. I would not use this for a regular camera.

Too light to be useful to me
I liked that this is very lightweight at 800g, and it's manfroto quality, but it is incredibly flimsy and doesn't support a lot of weight. The ball-head stem actually bends when I put my DSLR on it.There's no panning facility, and the ball head has a long screw so it takes forever to tighten the ball.If you need a light tripod for a small camera, then this is for you, but it's not designed for a DSLR.
