Fiskars 92146964J Garden, Shear Ease 360 Degree Swivel Grass Trimmer, Black

This is my second pair of these shears. They feel really comfortable in the hand and are so easy to use. I like the fact that you can adjust the cutting angle as well. I love the make so much that I also have the long handled grass shears too.

Great shears for small areas. I have a couple of small grassy patches in my predominantly wildlife friendly garden. They will also be useful for the path edges on my allotment. I have small, arthritic hands and I have found them easy to use. I do wear gloves all the time gardening so I have had no trouble blister or pain wise. The ability to alter the cutting angle is a real bonus. I do make sure they are cleaned and oiled after every use and advise the couple of minutes it takes to do this.I have now given away my electric strimmer that killed baby frogs and also took the grass down to bare earth level in patches! Now I can see and remove any small creatures or in the case of the odd newt wait until they have trundled back into the pond. The grass looks neat, like a well grazed field. All in all I am a happy customer.

great for edging the grass. better than sheers

I use this product for cutting grass edges. In a scissor like action the edge of the grass can be cut adjacent to plants and hard edges such as walls and kerbs. It is much more practical than shears for neat edges next to obstructions

I have been using this product primarily to cut edges of the lawn. I find normal shears too heavy to use as I am now 80.These one handed shears are brilliant. Exceptionally good value for money. I have seen the very same item for sale in Gqrden centres for £30!

Easy to use

These were exactly what I was looking for easy to use and to rotate to different positions and very sharp!!

Based on the huge number of 5* reviews, I thought I couldn't go wrong. Unfortunately, I found the metal to be flimsy, and the shears of poor design. The side lock means my thumb which is placed right by it when cutting, inadvertantly pushes it to the lock position.Anyone else found this? In the stock photos provided I can see the 'users' thumb is bent backwards, away from the lock. Odd, I can't seem to do this.One star from me and very disappointed. Oh! And delivery took way over a month, possibly due to covid, but everything else getting through very quickly.
