Zyliss Susi 3 Garlic Press - Aluminium Garlic Press with Built-In Cleaning Tool - Garlic Crusher, Mincer & Peeler for Unpeeled Garlic Cloves

We purchased the Zyliss Susi 3 garlic press as a replacement for an old "Susi - Swiss made" garlic press (now sold as "vintage"). This updated one is also aluminum, but the head cleaner stores inside the press and the handles are easier to hold. It's great that you don't need to peel the cloves before you press! Although the it can be washed in the dishwasher, they recommend hand washing it. From past experience, to prevent this one from turning to a dull dark gray, we will hand wash it.

A very solid product! Was initially hesitant to purchase because of the price. Thought it was pricey compared to other similar products. However, I gave it a shot given the positive reviews.I am glad I did get it. The press is such a solid product. The compartment is big enough for several garlic cloves and it is so easy to squeeze the handle to press. Results are also great with very fine garlic.Love also that it has a built in scrubber/cleaner to remove the sticky garlic and remove the skins.

Simply the best garlic press.

Had a Zyliss garlic press literally for decades but the finish was coming off right into the garlic and it was time for a new one. I don't know what they've done but this one is absolutely terrible. for each clove of garlic, about 25 percent actually gets pressed through the bottom and the other 75% of each cloves has been compressed to a sheet of garlic stuck to the bottom. You cannot press again and it will go through. Nope, it can't force is through at that point, it's wasted flat sheet of garlic. I actually bought a different, solid stainless steel one first because I knew I wouldn't worry about any paint finish coming off. It was terrible for the same reason the Zyliss is terrible now. I've wasted about $45 dollars on garbage garlic presses now.UPDATE: Editing my review for 2 reasons. 1) Seller promptly replied to my review offering a full refund. I didn't take advantage of that but I did think it was really great as far as caring about customer satisfaction. 2) I have discovered that if I peel the garlic cloves, I get very little waste. With my previous Zyliss, I didn't have to peel the cloves and got no waste so this one is still a bit disappointing. Still the best one I've tried currently so I'm bumping up to a 4.

Get this Garlic Press! I accidentally must have thrown out my old one- so glad that happened so that I could have this one.Love the little tool to clean out the garlic paper. Spend the extra couple of dollars for this upgrade. You'll have it for decades.

This garlic press is absolutely amazing! It presses all of the garlic out and minces the garlic very finely. It's also very easy to clean.

Love this garlic press. I bought this and love the ease of using this garlic press. I love that I can put the red pins in to push whatever is remaining out so I can clean it easily.
