Is it a six pack of three drawers each or six drawers total?

There are 6 each of 3 drawer cubes. For a total of 18 little drawers in 3 drawer cubes. This worked out great for me because I needed three units (9 drawers); of the other three I gave one to each of my three grandchildren for their personal treasures. So if you only need a few, just order 1 (one) item. There will be 6 (six) of the pictured three drawer units in the box. They are very convenient.

Will these fit inside upper cabinets of a kitchen?

Yes, as long as you have at least a 7 inch high x 7 inch wide x 8 inch deep space.

Are the dimension lxwxh? can someone give me the dimensions of the whole cube itself now just the drawers? thanks

I answered this question back in August of 2016:Question: Are the drawers large enough to hold a standard piece of paper, notebook or folder?Answer: No. The inside dimensions are 5.5" wide x 7.5" long x 1.75" deep.
