What is the weight capacity?

Chair label states 220 lbs. I am close to that and they hold me just fine.

Seat height in product description: "seat height 19.7"h". but three answers to that question say it's 17-3/4", 17-7/8" and 18". so what's the truth?

I just measured, with chair on a hard floor: the height to the top of the seat is 18" in the front (across the front edge and at both front legs), and 17-5/8" in the back (across the back edge and at both back legs). This includes the little white vinyl footpads that came with the chairs, which themselves are about 1/4" thick. I don't remember now if the footpads were already attached, or I hammered them in. Hope this helps!

I don't know if amazon sees these but i was wondering if i can buy just one? maybe one got damaged and you have a single??

I bought the pair. I never saw an option of buying just one chair. I like the design and feels good sitting at a desk.
