I have been using paracord for boot laces. With no aglets, just burning the ends leaves an unprofessional and sloppy look.These aglets, 4mm size, are made for 550 paracord an do a fine job of finishing off my laces.They are easy to use as long as you are not rushing the job, and made lacing through boot eyelets so much easier.Definitely worth every penny.

Thin metal. Crimps easily around the ends of my corset laces. They look nice. Appreciate the variety of metal tones.

My son is super rough on his shoe laces. He has several pairs of Jordan’s and Yeezys, and their laces aren’t cheap to replace. These metal tips allowed me to fix them easily and he was thrilled with the little extra style they give his shoe collection. The only thing that would make them better was if they came with a tool to use to apply them.

This kit is okay, but it doesn't work as well as I'd hoped. The metal shoelace tips are rather flimsy and don't stay on the laces with heavy activity.

Bought these after watching Renee Romeo's video here at Amazon. At least for shoes with big eyelets these aglets are just the ticket to make replacement shoelaces from paracord that hold up to heavy use. And the shoelaces will be exactly the length you want them to be. Using needle nose pliers a gentle touch is needed to get them looking nice, and a firm press into the triangular tab will keep the aglet in place. So yes, installation does require some skill but it's one you will quickly pick up. The era of flimsy shoelaces is now over. Get yourself some aglets and make the best shoelaces of your life if strength and durability is what matters most to you.

I never knew what the name of these were until I saw a YouTube video of someone using them. I love the gold, those are my favorite. If the manufacturer can make them in other colors, that would be great.
