Peyton's Beef Chorizo 8 Oz (12 Pack)

My friend visited me in Oregon. He brought some Peyton's Chorizo with him from Texas.I was immediately hooked! It far exceeds the flavor of any local chorizo brands. The problem is that it isn't availableoutside the Southwest region of the United States. Evidently the meat industry has geographic boundaries.I have tried ordering it on line for more than 10 years. No such luck due to the industry boundaries! I was hoping that, short of catching a plane to New Mexico or Texas, some day it would be available to us on the West Coast. That day finally came. Tho it was "EXTREMELY" $$$ to ship a perishable product, I wanted it badly.I'll just ration it out and treat myself to a little bit over a long time.Amazon packed it as good as can be expected. Thick Styrofoam coolers with ice packs all taped up tight.The Chorizo Arrived approx. 3 days from ship date. The chorizo and ice packs were completely thawed but still cool. Temperature check was @ 43 degrees (ish) :/ aaahh!! I immediately froze it and it appears to be fine. One day faster on the shipment or 1 more ice pack would be better. It seems to have worked out and I am satisfied.Including the shipment the Chorizo cost me a dollar an ounce. ($1.00/oz.) Crazy $$$ but worth it for this product.Thank You Amazon!

I am excited and very impress how my package arrived . Super cold and less the estimated time of delivery . Thank you and will order again . I am using some of the chorizo in my frijoles charros

Best chorizo ever!!

I grew up eating peytons chorizo and it still tastes the same and I don't have to drive to Texas to get it.
