It really does help make the hair stronger and with less breakage. I've been using it for a while know and I don't want to be without it. May hair breakage is little to nothing now. I just love it!

Does a good job softening the hair for few days but soon needs reapplying to get the same softness back.

For hair that is extremely damaged, this is a superb fix. The instructions say to apply a good amount but even a little helps to rebuild the cuticle of hair that has been stressed due to heat, color, and plain everyday combing and brushing. I have used this product for 10 years and my hair is stronger than it has ever been. After shampooing, spread the masque, cover with a processing cap and go about with some other activity. The longer that the product remains in your hair, the better. You may also choose the processing cap and hair dryer route if you are short on time but my personal preference is to avoid using as much heat as possible. Strong and soft hair is always the result after use. I don't advise this product as an every after wash conditioner because you can actually do more harm than good. My advice is to use it about once every three weeks. Great to have on hand, no regrets.

I have been using Keracare products for years now but this is the first time in a few years. No reason that I stopped but let's face it. I have relaxed hair, but my hair (4b/c) has grown out about 2 inches. I normally love KeraCare & Mizani products for relaxed hair women. This masque wasn’t the best but it didn’t strip my hair or make dry. The moisture aspect just wasn’t there for me. It also didn’t provide enough slip. The Joico moisture recovery will remain my deep conditioner bc of the slip & softness it gives my hair.

Moisturizing conditioner that actually works well on my 4c-4c hair. Allows my kinks and coils to come though. And easy to deranged after rinsed out. It’s my old faithful. Product came in tact. No leaky packaging. I will buy again.
