Remains The Bible of the Hobby
I am a longtime fan of the Overstreet Indian Arrowheads book. The new edition continues the excellent work of previous editions and remains THE BEST resource available for collectors. The new edition was fully updated with an in-depth typology review by Matt Rowe, the curator of the Museum of Native American History. Mr. Rowe is excellent. No other reference offers this type of authoritative voice or expertise. None. I read in a previous review that someone was upset that Mr. Rowe's name wasn't on the front cover but only listed on the back cover. Maybe this is an oversight that will be addressed down the road. But quite frankly, I'm just happy his work is found in-between the covers. That is far more important to most collectors and should be celebrated. So I will. Thank you Mr. Rowe for making this edition better and for continuing to help educate and inform collectors. Also involved is Jim Bennett, who many collectors will know for his pricing expertise. You could easily make the argument that no one knows values better than Mr. Bennett. The extensive contributions from Mr. Rowe and Mr. Bennett speak to the commitment to the hobby that you'll find in Overstreet Indian Arrowheads. That's why I've been a fan of the book for so many years, and why I continue to be so today.

New Overstreet Artifact Identification and Price guide.
Just received my new copy of the Overstreet guide #15. Yesterday. I've had a little time to sit down and flip through it.I'm pleased with the purchase..There are several color pages including a large section titled "Gallery of the Paleolithic ". I have and collect all editions of Overstreet and this edition is a real standout with the addition of this section alone. If your a lover of ancient North American artifacts like I am you'll be very happy with the purchase price with this assembleldge of photos alone. Breathtaking paleo artifacts from all over the continent. As far as the rest of the guide...not a lot has changed from previous editions with the exception of the price value estimates have been updated fairly representing current market values. If your considering purchasing this edition don't hesitate.

Great book with lots of information
This is a 4 star rating only because it arrived with creases in the cover. Other then that it's a good source of information.

Comprehensive and Thorough Guide to Native American artifacts.
I am impressed at the thoroughness of types and areas as well as eras in which they were produced. This is the most comprehensive book on Indian Artifacts that I've ever seen. I was surprised at the thickness of the book when it arrived. I thought it would be a guide of artifacts in general, but it is a thorough listing and description of every type of point and tool imaginable throughout the ages of mankind's existence in the Americas. I am very pleased at the photos and illustrations contained in this book. It is a treasure for anyone who collects or fancies themselves as a collector of Indian artifacts.
