At this price I had high expectations and it exceeded all of them
This is a great system. The only criticism I have, and it's a small one, is that FreshVac isn't that useful for me because I like to make my smoothies fresh and it's more of a hassle than it's worth to remove the bubbles/foam from blending. I might purchase the model that is twenty bucks cheaper without the fresh vac were I to buy it again - the 1400w motor is impressive and tears through everything though and I think the cheaper on is only 1200w.Overall, I'm really happy with it, I use it everyday. The touch screen and programmed blending cycles are extremely well done, intuitive to use, and conveniently change for the type of container that's on top.

Best 2 in 1 out there.
Fantastic! Did a lot of research for this as I didn’t want multiple devices. We use for smoothies daily, and also for making coleslaw style salads. Really use to use. It’s quite loud, but only for 1 minute. The auto function on when to stop and start is very clever. It stops to resettle when cutting large items. The blades are extremely sharp so be careful and when cleaning be careful it doesn’t scratch the sink.

Fantastic Value
I am sold on this product. I didn't realize what all I could do with this machine. From blending food items, making smoothies, food processing - slicing & dicing fruits and vegetables. It is amazing and the blades are razor sharp (be very careful and keep away from children). I can do a shake for me (single blender) or pull out the full attachment and make shakes for the entire family. I received 2-10 lb bags of onions. As I was struggling to chop the onions to put in the freezer, I remembered my Ninja machine had some blades attached to it. I pulled it out and 20lbs of onions were chopped up and put in the freezer in no time. I've cut up carrots and potatoes, blended my own confectioners sugar, made protein smoothies. Just follow the instructions on which ingredients should go in 1st and which last and you can't go wrong. Can't believe I never bought one of these before.

Love my Ninja!
I love love love my Ninja!! It is easy to use, easy to clean, works wonderfully, I use it almost daily and so do my teenagers. I have had it only a few months so I cannot attest to longevity, but other than that, I highly recommend this Ninja package

Review Update: BLENDER ROCKS!!
Update: while I am still not very happy with the food processor, I have to say, the blender makes up for EVERYTHING! I made smoothie last night. Threw everything but the kitchen sink in it. Took about a minute & they were the SMOOTHEST, SILKIEST smoothies EVER!! Then I threw some frozen chicken breasts in (skinless & boneless ofcourse). 4 QUICK pulses & they were done. Perfect chicken burgers! My new favorite kitchen aid!! Put the processor aside 4 nowEven WORSE THAN I THOUGHT!!Left my review 2 early. My last Ninja product was AMAZING. Would mix up ANYTHING. This 'thing' couldnt even mix Tuna fish & Redfish for my CAT!! The blades r different now & is such a FLIMSY, plastic construction. Just GARBAGE. Will b my LAST NINJA product. Cant believe i dropped over $200 on this! Was EXPECTING SO MUCH MORE!!Not NEARLY as good or as well made as the Nutra Ninja system i previously had. When i pulled this out of packaging my husband grabbed the blender & was shocked how 'flimsy' it was. Is going to scratch & scar as well. I HATE PLASTIC BLENDERS!!! Could've bought a PLASTIC blender at WALMART!On PERFORMANCE: My last Ninja had a NICE stainless housing that lasted me for 8 years. Could put pretty much ANYTHING in it, hit pulse & in a minute it would be soft & creamy. Not so with this. Had 2 keep cleaning the blades so it would turn (was trying 2 make a seafood pate for my cat using already smooth ground material). REALLY? My old system wouldve turned out something perfect. Darn it, think this one is going to be a BOMB. Looks like they r trying 2 cheap out (& prices r NOT reflecting that at ALL)

Read the manual. It's easy.
I've had this for a few weeks now and love it. So far it works great and I haven't had any issues. A little learning curve with the pump, but reading instructions spells it out plainly and the book even gives pictures for those who don't want to read the whole thing. It's more like a quick start guide.

Deliberately Designed to be Disposable
Critical component is the gasket seal that drops into the bottom of the blender into a cavity to provide a seal. It is a worthless and dumb design making cleaning very difficult. The black color of the blender bottom that is made of plastic makes the black mold that develop in time impossible to see.The plastic blender bottom develops visible shaving of plastic overtime from coming into contact with ingredients at high speeds. That in itself releases more plastic into food.Ninja doesn't offer a replacement unless you buy a completely new jar at a hefty price. The gasket ring that is not visible develops impossible to clean mold and overtime introduces poison and microplastics into the food.Same thing with the components of the disposable and short lived mixer. Critical components are manufactured to fail and render the unit worthless. Replacements are either not available or so expensive that you are better off buying a new model, which rewards the landfill economy that these greedy corporations have wrecked the planet for, wasting planet's precious resources by deliberately making what could have been a long lived serviceable product trash. The food processor's locking mechanism develops fault, such that locking and unlocking the unit becomes a hassle. You have to apply a lot of pressure to open and lock the lid. The kind of cheap acrylic that makes up the food processor bowl is subject to scratches, turning cloudy over time and introducing plastic micro-shaving into the food. You can visibly see traces of scratches and marks around the bowl after a period of use. Performance is also hit and miss. Herbs are not evenly and uniformly chopped and in the end it takes less time chopping them manually with a knife. For this reason, I will never reward Ninja with another purchase.
