O'Neill Men's O'Riginal 2/1mm Back Zip Jacket

I am 6'1", 200 lbs, 44" chest, chose the XL and glad I did...I think the size chart from O'Neil is accurate...I tried it on and jumped into our pool to see if it fit and how it felt...It felt great, fit perfect and I am very happy with this purchase...I plan on using this in mid January down in the Caribbean, pretty sure this will be fine...I will try this again in Dec before the cruise by jumping into the pool again when the water is in the mid 70's...Fast delivery, a little expensive but you pay for quality...

Compared to a nearly identical jacket made by a competitor this product was a total bust.First, I sized up as was suggested and it is still hilariously small. Even if I had gotten the right size this does not appear to be an athletic cut as the arms were super tight compared to the torso's moderate tightness.Second, the interior is the scratchiest and least comfortable neoprene I have ever felt. Feels like its lined with a burlap sac.

This is an awesome pull-over jacket. I don't know why everyone is getting away from the back half zipper (I'm sure it's a cost issue), but this makes it so much easier to pull on and off. The last couple jackets I had didn't have this and it was a real hassle to pull them off. It's also nice have the 2/1. I'm in So Cal and a 1mm is often just not enough. Great wetsuit top at a really good price.... Stoked!

Love these jackets, this is my 3rd or 4th one. This one has no pocket for a key, all my other ones did. Minus 1 star.The neck on my last one was rubber and turned to goo after a few years. This one has a neoprene (?) neck which I think will last longer. My old one still had life left in it, at least another year I would say but the gooey rubber was getting in my hair and on my neck. I think this is going to be much better and last longer, just wish it had a pocket for my key.

I have a 38" chest, but I ordered size M because my height & weight are closer to that range. The fit was close but not snug enough to keep water out. Going just by chest size, the size guide predicts that result, so maybe chest size is the the thing to go by on this fella...

This wetsuit jacket is perfectly functional, and does keep me warm in cool waters but the smell of the rubberized section is absolutely killer. I mean we have to keep it in an outside shed because it smells sooo bad! After 2 years, numerous washings in an appropriate shampoo and a few in-water uses he smell is getting less offensive, but still not acceptable.

My son bought this for working as a swim instructor at a pool. Even "warm" pools get very cold when you are in them for hours, so the wetsuit worked well for that. The only downside is that the chlorine tends to break down the rubber so most suits only last a year or so. :-(

Fits excellent. I’m 5’7 178 lbs and athletic build with little bit of muscle, not too lean and this top fits me very well. No weird lumps or buckling in any spots and the rear zipper makes putting on and taking off MUCH easier. Love it.
