Exceptional value for money
A great value-for-money purchase from a reliable brand. Having previously owned a Samsung Smart TV, I chose to stick with what I know, since I was highly satisfied with my previous Samsung TV. The Samsung UE50NU7020 offers everything you would look for in a higher-priced TV in the same category, without pay a premium. The picture quality is superb and the sound quality is also surprisingly good for built-in audio. It's slim and stylish, with a typical Samsung user-friendly remote. The only negative feedback I can give (and it's nothing major) is that the Smart functionality could use some work. The interface could be a little more user-friendly and more importantly, there is a sluggish feel and slow response time when using apps such as Netflix or Amazon Prime. If you're on the fence about which UHD Smart TV to purchase, hop off it and grab this bargain. It's one of those rare deals where you get to pay less for more and don't need to compromise on size or quality. Samsung really have spoiled us this time.

Great value, quality TV, straightforward assembly
At its pricepoint this TV is excellent. The picture quality is solid as is the sound. Samsung's chosen operating system is also intuitive and has all the essentials. Works well with e.g. iPhone/iPad screen sharing as a bonus.

4 years later
Iv had this tv coming up to 4 years now. It has never done me wrong, picture is great, sound is perfect. The smart functions lag a little but not enough to annoy me. All in all a great purchase.

Choppy sound and bad picture
UPDATE - after four engineer visits, Samsung have been unable to find the fault with this TV and have picked it up and issued me a refund for the full amount paid to the retailer. Avoid this TV. Original review below...Great picture - sometimes! Occasionally though, and it's more obvious on fast moving pictures, the TV visibly splits into four quarters. This only happens when using devices plugged into the HDMI ports. Also, the sound is choppy and cuts out occasionally for just a split second. It's highly annoying and, having researched online, it seems to be a common fault with the current crop of Samsung TVs.I've now had an engineer out to replace the entire insides of the TV and it's still doing the same thing. Have another engineer coming out in a few days. This doesn't bode well for Samsung and they need to sort it out ASAP.

Sleek and efficient
I absolutely love the sleek design of this TV! The smart features work really well and the guide is easy to navigate. The remote is nicely laid out and has everything clearly marked. It's also really light in weight. Picture quality is far superior to my last TV, but it does struggle occasionally with older programmes.Be warned, there are no scart sockets on this TV, therefore older dvd players etc may not work - something I didn't discover until I was setting it up!

Fantastic 4k TV don't miss out
This television is fantastic. When you get it make sure you tweak the picture settings under expert settings and you can get INCREDIBLE RESULTS. We are very happy with our TV and it will bring years of joy. Thanks Amazon

Curates egg.
I didn't sign up for a Samsung account and found its not necessary anyway so don't bother if you're not interested in yet more monitoring by a big company! The remote control is small but chunky and awkward with too many buttons too close together making it frustrating if trying to navigate a menu and end up back on the home screen all the time! 2 HDMI is pathetic, you'll need a splitter if have multiple devices - Blu-ray player, Freesat, 2 games consoles, fireTV stick all need HDMI slots. This replaced a smaller not particularly smart TV that had 4 HDMI connections and that was adequate. This is a lot more TV (for lots more money) with less connectivity. Picture is good, can see every flaw on every face - Sean Bean is more ragged that rugged in UHD!
