Simple and gets the job done.
You get use to the fact that the controls are opposite. Some buttons don't work like Menu, all the important work though. All in all irs a good buy. Worked a with batteries.

I didn’t need to program it. I just hit power on the remote and it was working on my mom’s old LG plasma TV.

This remote worked right out of the box when has done a great job over the last few months. No programming was required and it works with our tv. It was an incredible value over what t he local electronics shop was selling.
