Kinda cheap but not bad. As another reviewer wrote, I too had an issue with the tape measure. But for me it was retracted in all the way upon arrival. I had to open up the unit and pull it back through the hole. It's very easy for that little metal tab to be lost in the hole. I ended up bending it downwards a little just so it would not keep pulling itself back in.

Nice scales and like the fact they use AAA batteries instead of some odd size like the last scale I had. Only complaint I have is that I would like to be able to measure in Lbs and Ozs and not Lbs and 1/100, although this may do it i could not get mine set that way and no instructions came with them to tell me how..

Not as accurate of a product. Have used this item to weigh fish. After comparing results to a fish length to weigh estimator, I noticed my fish were a bit on the small side per this scale. Grabbing a rapala scale from wally world I immediately tossed this in the back of my boat.

appears to be nice scale. I like the built in ruler/measuring tape. Also nice that it takes AA batteries instead of disc type. Much cheaper. Time will tell how durable it is.

I checked the scale at smaller weights (under 5lbs), and it was inaccurate by 1/4 to 1/2 pound. The tape measure did not return properly - had to kind of push it in.

If you're looking for a great scale to weigh fish, large or small, look no further. I tested this scale for 1,3, and 5 lbs. and it was exact. It also uses AAA batteries and I really like that (I hate flat batteries!). Also came with a great price. Getting ready to order one for my brother.

Stopped working in a few weeks

The weight is in kilograms and when I tried to grab the little clip to pull out the built-in tape measure it slipped inside the case so it's useless to me. I will be returning this item
