Blue Bottle Coffee, Giant Steps Blend Whole Bean, 6 Ounce (1 Count)

Awesome product, just like the freshly roasted coffee I get on my BB subscription. If you don’t understand this product, don’t order it and write a poor review. They intend for the beans to be fresh for approximately 4 months, so that is their “expiration date.” The vacuum sealed can will pop open. I keep a couple of these cans on hand for when I run low.

I love Blue Bottle coffee and now I can have it at home! The bottle arrived in perfect condition. The coffee has an airtight seal and was super fresh! I loved popping it open and smelling the beans. Can't wait to server this to my friends and family.

This arrived about two days before Christmas and it was a stocking filler for my husband. On Christmas morning we noticed the expiry date was December 31. I am really disappointed in this. What is the point of the can? I could have just bought a bag of beans from my local Blue Bottle and used them in a week. Luckily it was just for my husband so we will drink the coffee this week. This would have been even more disappointing if I had gifted it to someone else or I wasn’t gifting it immediately. They are marketed as giftable but there is no point to these cans if they expire a week after receiving.

It is worth noting that while the coffee was delicious and smooth the images of the container suggest that it is airtight with the lid after opening - this is not the case. Once the can seal is broken on the standard aluminum can the lid will do nothing to preserve the freshness of the remaining beans - it is not a snug fit and there is a sizable gap. I real missed opportunity in my opinion.

My coffee came the next day and in perfect condition. It is perfect and made the best cup of coffee!! I don’t live near a blue bottle but have enjoyed their most delicious coffee when traveling to New York and San Francisco. Now I can enjoy that perfection right at home. So very good!!

I was so excited to see Blue Bottle Coffee on Amazon - I've heard so much about it and we have a store opening soon in Woodland Hills, Ca.I ordered a total of 6 cans (2 cans of 3 different coffees) for a Christmas Gift. Unfortunately, 1 of the cans of Bella Donovan was dented and the vacuum seemed to be broken. This item can not be returned, so I had to order it again. Hopefully the replacement will be dent-free so that I can included it with the others in the Christmas Gift.

I've had many gourmet coffee, but this is nothing special.And why not make the lid fit tight for storage?

My friend turned me on to Blue Bottle coffee years ago and I've always had to visit a cafe to get their delicious pour over - too bad I live hours away from their closest cafe. Now, I can get it here and grind it at home myself. Giant Steps and Bella Donovan have always been my favorite blends. When I opened the can, the "pop" was a bit loud, but not explosive - kind of like opening a shaken can of soda without the liquid spraying everywhere. The can lasted gave me just over a week's supply of super fresh coffee! It tastes just like my visits to the cafe. I'm definitely ordering more today!
