Very informative and full of recipes
This book is so good it has helped me to be more active in being healthy for me and my baby. I had no idea there were a variety of smoothies I can try to get all my vegetables and fruit portions.

Good book for juicing during pregnancy
Helpful for my husband to help make me juices that were packed with vitamins. I had Gestational Diabetes so I was very interested in the lower carb juices.

Informational, Organized Way to Stay Healthy During Pregnancy
A friend recommended this book to me and I'm so glad I bought it. I'm 16 weeks pregnant with our first child and I wasn't eating too well during my first trimester. I don't know very much about nutrition in general and I can be a picky eater.Things I love about this book:-The intro explains the benefits contained in each fruit and vegetable, as well as all the tools you'll need to make the smoothies and juices in the book.-The variety of smoothies is great. Some have more fruit, some have more vegetables, so you're sure to find something you like.-Every smoothie recipe tells you what benefit the smoothie brings to you and your baby. Some of the categories are: Good for your baby's nervous system, Good for morning sickness, Good for your digestive system, Helps boost energy levels, etc. I love knowing exactly what the smoothie is doing inside me.-We don't own a juicer (yet) so I enjoy making the smoothies in my blender for now and I look forward to having this book as a resource for when we get our juicer.Things I would change about the book:-A lot of the smoothies use water or almond milk as the base liquid, but several of them call for caffeine-free raspberry tea. I don't like tea at all so I'm trying to figure out what to substitute. I haven't seen any recommended substitutions in the book or an explanation of why to use this specific kind of tea for the base.-Personally, I think it would be nice to have the smoothie recipes arranged by the benefit categories. For example, I haven't had morning sickness, so I'm not rushing to make the smoothies that are good for morning sickness, but I have had digestive issues, so I'd like to be able to find all of those smoothies quickly. I downloaded this book on my iPhone and iPad, so a quick search solves this problem, but I wouldn't know how to quickly navigate through the printed book. The pros definitely outweigh the cons and I highly recommend this book! If you can get it electronically on your phone, then you'll always have the recipes handy when you're at the grocery store.
